Thx :-) The answer starts with recording settings: use manuel settings in every aspect. And record in flat profile, with them, the camera saves the most possible datas. Next is colorgrading, and the last is export with same resolution like the recording. I recorded in 4k60 for this video. If you have the drone and want go for cinematic fpv, think about attaching a gopro. Awesome location! You've got power lines attached to that train trestle that appear to be maybe 25' above the tracks, then you have another set of power lines 60' feet above that. That power loop better be pretty precise! Good thing you could move that gimbal as you can clearly see you were right underneath the bridge! Nice recovery!
It is highly unlikely that this will happen. The battery is very well protected. To damage it, one would probably have to torture it with an awl and hammer.
I Just wonder, wouldn't it be a good idea to also place a neodimiun magnet on top of it, to rescue a drone wth another drone and neodimiun magnes at the end of a cable hanging from the cord?

for real. The FPV is agreat drone, but no Location after crash? (only when connected phone with the googles) No beeper? Nearly impossible to find the location of the drone just by the picture your getting from the drone....
Do you have one? Location only over goggles wit smartphone plugged in :-/ There is ab beeper, but on this point, i was not able to activate. I was searching for a moment until i was able to recover, but with the last picture of the bridge i could limit the area for the search :-) Afterwars i know it bether and meanwhile i have always the cabel in my bagpack and know how to activate "lost my drone" and beeper
@@SMB96 you can configure in the goggle. i have put it on button c1 after the crash, because i learned how good itisto have a beeper and know how to startit ;-) by the way, i also configured turtle mode, if i crash on a place i can't reach the drone and itis upside down :-) hope i will never need that one! danke für das lob! jup, guter plan, würde min 20 h simulator vor echt. je nach sim gibt es die dji fpv, ich verwende liftoff, die drohne dort verhält sich fast wie in echt. für mehr guckst du mein kanal ☺️ ich mache normalerweise eher cinematisches und stelle dort vor allem schöne orte vor. Würde mich riesig über ein abo freuen... Viel spass in der luft und sichere heime flüge ;-)
Habs mir in Einzelbilder angeschaut... Es war der Maschendrahtzaun beim Fussgängerweg. Ich hab mich wegen der hochspannungsleitungen eher knapp gehalten, um dann vom viadukt gestoppt zu werden. Jup, war mein erster akku. Propeller wechseln und weiterfliegen... war super glück!
Sehr schöne Aufnahmen und beeindruckende Landschaft. Den Absturz war nicht schön anzuschauen aber gehört leider dazu und die Drohne hat es überraschend gut überstanden 😊

If I had a choice, I’d say that you hit the power lines. Props are fairly cheap, boots -well more expensive. But the drone is more expensive than either of those - so great recovery.
Amazing! I’m perplexed on the negative opinions of this drone. Several people claiming it totals out on impact. I was hill surfing the other day and forgot to bump my altitude limits up. Bounced off the side of a hill at 45mph and it kept flying! I’ve hit a tree, had a bird kamikaze itself into the rotors and more. Plucky little thing keeps trucking along with no issues
Right, i think dji made a realy good job with thos drone. As a starter, you get realy good stuff for the price! Im happy to here, that you have fun and also luck after your issues. After a crash, anything can happen. But it is much more durable than many peoples claim...
Im Simulator hat das wunderbar mehrfach geklappt. Und dann hab ich mich verschätzt.... Ist nicht grad um die ecke, wollte das manöver auch mal in der praxis durchführen, und hab mir dazu ein ort weit ab der zivilisation rausgesucht....

Wirklich ein action geladenes video mit glücklichem Ausgang 😎🙏..ich hatte mit meiner mavic air beim giessbach wasserfall eine ähnliche situation nicht nach looping sondern ich hatte den cinematic modus angeschalten um weichere aufnahmen zu machen dabei vergass ich dass beim bremsen die drohne noch etwas (1 bis 2m ) weiter fliegt..nach dem crash... suchte ich sie gut 1std. In einem sehr steilen Abhang mit hohem gras und Disteln letztentlich hab ich meine drohne auch unbeschadet wieder gefunden 😊....bei deiner lokation hätte ich noch immer nicht mut zu fliegen da sie sehr nahe an Eisenbahn und hochspannungs leitungen ist...aber nochmals ich find dein video der Hammer...meeega
Danke Bei den Giessbachfällen war ich auch schon, die hören irgendwie nicht auf, und das Hotel dort... Tolle location. Inzwischen bin ich recht sicher, solange ich in richtung Kamera fliege. Da traue ich mich einiges mit allen drohnen. Seitlich oder in diesem fall rückwärts war doch zu viel... Solange man die Leitungen am Bilschirm erkennt gehts recht gut. Zum vertrauen aufbauen ev mal unter brücke fliegen, und gimbel ca 0° einstellen. Wenn du die hinteren träger siehst, kommst du unten durch. Dasselbe oben, wenn du tief fliegst und den hinteren teil siehst, passt du oben drüber. Leitungen sind häufig auch 2 auf selber höhe vorhanden, dann sieht man ob an unten durch passt. Die mavics sind da ja recht gut im höhe genau halten, ausser die mini über fliessenden gewässern... weiterhin unfallfreies fliege... :-)

Certainly not a bad decision :-) I love the drone and prefer to fly it. At least as long as fun is in the foreground. Note: the Mavic Air has a better camera than the dji fpv drone. As long as there is enough light, it works, under poor lighting conditions the dji fpv camera does not produce good results. Great video up until that impact (it happens), but at least you were able to get the drone back. Pyro Drone sells props for the DJI FPV that are cheaper than the stock props and don't require an adapter.
Great your video and a spectacular place where would that be? You were very low when you tried to do the power loop but I'm glad you were able to recover your drone in one piece..100% 👍🏻
IMO you need to be better at this before you try this stuff. Can do a lot worse than ding your DJI if you fly beyond your abilities over bridges and power lines etc.
Right! Even then, not near peoples or cars. Every crash in fpv shows, this is important and can happen everytime, no mather how good you are. always away from peoples or things...

Danke. Oh ja, hab diese Lektion gelernt... Falls es dich mal in die CH verschlägt, toller Platz, und bei uns dürfen auch Gleise überflogen werde. Und Strassen. Haben (noch) recht offene Handhabungen (gleichen uns EU recht an)... Einzig Abstand zu Flugplätze (5km) ist etwas strenger als in D, wobei man da oft eine simple telefonische Freigabe anfordern kann...

Danke :-) Nein, keine care. Gut, im Moment des Crash hab ich kurz gewackelt, das care ist aber schweineteuer, und wenn nix passiert, kauft man recht schnell auch eine neue Drohne. Die Drohne selber kostet übrigens alleine um die 700E. Careplan: 190E, 1x Einsenden 269E = 460, nochmals einsenden nochmals +289 Total 748. Ausser der Propeller ist bei der Aktion ja nix kaputt gegangen (ok, auch meine Schuhe). FPV ist richtig fun, kann das weiterempfehlen...
Solche spässe lasse ich meist inzwischen und bin recht "unfallfrei" unterwegs seither, mache nicht sonderlich viel freestyle. Ps: Ich kenne dein kanal, bin schon seit längerem abonnent und hab mich durchaus auch von locations/flügen inspirierel lassen von dir ;-)
@@fpv-hornet7050 Die Stelle südlich am Walensee hab ich dank dir entdeckt und war auch schon dort (video kommt noch). Nur hatte ich leider kein Wasserfall wie du, ist aber totzdem Hammer dort! Ev guckst du dich ja auch mal etwas genauer auf meinem Kanal um, ev findest du dort ja auch den einen oder anderen tollen Spot ;-)
Location and video are fantastic but FPV so sloooowww is a little more Mavic like would be cool to see things quicker and you will need a beefed out freestyle machine for it.

Oh no... i was incredibly lucky. at the bridge i crashed into the chain link fence, which absorbed a lot of energy. then after falling down earth in a young fir with thin branches. and at the end rather rolled onto the forest floor. the same height on stone would mean game over ...
@@anotherview1 yep. Well i was going sideways like 100 km per hour so its obious it got destroyed. Now i'm really scared of flying near to the object with dji fpv. I quess i'll stay with SIM for now
@@Dzwonek-fe7bb i was also realy afraid, but i phushed me the same day to fly... i was on a daytrip, cras happend with first lipo, but i was realy mentali destroyed... keep flying in your comfortzone, it comes all back and the flying is amazing... also if you stay away from objects.

not sure if it's worth the additional weight. I would rather use some wire and try to hook it on the propellers. Luckily, it wasn't necessary :-)

Also I'd invest on the adapter to use fpv props. DJI charges $16 for props vs fpv props are like $2.99

Im Simulator hat das wunderbar mehrfach geklappt. Und dann hab ich mich verschätzt.... Ist nicht grad um die ecke, wollte das manöver auch mal in der praxis durchführen, und hab mir dazu ein ort weit ab der zivilisation rausgesucht....

@@anotherview1 I've got a crash video I think I was pretty lucky that, like ur FPV drone she wasn't damaged and only had some scratches and no props. Even how the gopro broke off and still cought the rest of the crash XD
I mean really brave to do that with all those lines and a $800 drone 😳

Wirklich ein action geladenes video mit glücklichem Ausgang 😎🙏..ich hatte mit meiner mavic air beim giessbach wasserfall eine ähnliche situation nicht nach looping sondern ich hatte den cinematic modus angeschalten um weichere aufnahmen zu machen dabei vergass ich dass beim bremsen die drohne noch etwas (1 bis 2m ) weiter fliegt..nach dem crash... suchte ich sie gut 1std. In einem sehr steilen Abhang mit hohem gras und Disteln letztentlich hab ich meine drohne auch unbeschadet wieder gefunden 😊....bei deiner lokation hätte ich noch immer nicht mut zu fliegen da sie sehr nahe an Eisenbahn und hochspannungs leitungen ist...aber nochmals ich find dein video der Hammer...meeega

Bei den Giessbachfällen war ich auch schon, die hören irgendwie nicht auf, und das Hotel dort... Tolle location.
Inzwischen bin ich recht sicher, solange ich in richtung Kamera fliege. Da traue ich mich einiges mit allen drohnen. Seitlich oder in diesem fall rückwärts war doch zu viel... Solange man die Leitungen am Bilschirm erkennt gehts recht gut. Zum vertrauen aufbauen ev mal unter brücke fliegen, und gimbel ca 0° einstellen. Wenn du die hinteren träger siehst, kommst du unten durch. Dasselbe oben, wenn du tief fliegst und den hinteren teil siehst, passt du oben drüber. Leitungen sind häufig auch 2 auf selber höhe vorhanden, dann sieht man ob an unten durch passt. Die mavics sind da ja recht gut im höhe genau halten, ausser die mini über fliessenden gewässern... weiterhin unfallfreies fliege... :-)

I convinced myself to buy the mavic air 2s and then i watch this and i just got to get one for the thrill/fun factor
Certainly not a bad decision :-) I love the drone and prefer to fly it. At least as long as fun is in the foreground.
Note: the Mavic Air has a better camera than the dji fpv drone. As long as there is enough light, it works, under poor lighting conditions the dji fpv camera does not produce good results.

Great video up until that impact (it happens), but at least you were able to get the drone back. Pyro Drone sells props for the DJI FPV that are cheaper than the stock props and don't require an adapter.

IMO you need to be better at this before you try this stuff. Can do a lot worse than ding your DJI if you fly beyond your abilities over bridges and power lines etc.
Right! Even then, not near peoples or cars. Every crash in fpv shows, this is important and can happen everytime, no mather how good you are. always away from peoples or things...

Danke. Oh ja, hab diese Lektion gelernt... Falls es dich mal in die CH verschlägt, toller Platz, und bei uns dürfen auch Gleise überflogen werde. Und Strassen. Haben (noch) recht offene Handhabungen (gleichen uns EU recht an)... Einzig Abstand zu Flugplätze (5km) ist etwas strenger als in D, wobei man da oft eine simple telefonische Freigabe anfordern kann...

No worry, there are only two train per hour and in Switzerland, you have always a spotter to prevent dangerous situations.

Nein, keine care. Gut, im Moment des Crash hab ich kurz gewackelt, das care ist aber schweineteuer, und wenn nix passiert, kauft man recht schnell auch eine neue Drohne. Die Drohne selber kostet übrigens alleine um die 700E. Careplan: 190E, 1x Einsenden 269E = 460, nochmals einsenden nochmals +289 Total 748.
Ausser der Propeller ist bei der Aktion ja nix kaputt gegangen (ok, auch meine Schuhe). FPV ist richtig fun, kann das weiterempfehlen...
Besser no ch etwas am simulator üben😅 aber cooles video ich fliege auch eine dji fpv 💪🏽
Solche spässe lasse ich meist inzwischen und bin recht "unfallfrei" unterwegs seither, mache nicht sonderlich viel freestyle.
Ps: Ich kenne dein kanal, bin schon seit längerem abonnent und hab mich durchaus auch von locations/flügen inspirierel lassen von dir ;-)

@@fpv-hornet7050 Die Stelle südlich am Walensee hab ich dank dir entdeckt und war auch schon dort (video kommt noch). Nur hatte ich leider kein Wasserfall wie du, ist aber totzdem Hammer dort! Ev guckst du dich ja auch mal etwas genauer auf meinem Kanal um, ev findest du dort ja auch den einen oder anderen tollen Spot ;-)

Location and video are fantastic but FPV so sloooowww is a little more Mavic like would be cool to see things quicker and you will need a beefed out freestyle machine for it.

What drone were you using to scout the area? Seemed more cinematic then the DJI FPV drone.
I used the mavic pro 2 zoom for the scout.

Ohh so ein Mist. Aber das die Drohne einen 90m Sturz relativ gut überlebt hat, ist toll!!! Man muss ein blödes Gefühl gewesen sein. Dauerte sicher lange bis du die Drohne gefunden hast.

Oh no... i was incredibly lucky. at the bridge i crashed into the chain link fence, which absorbed a lot of energy. then after falling down earth in a young fir with thin branches. and at the end rather rolled onto the forest floor. the same height on stone would mean game over ...

Well i was going sideways like 100 km per hour so its obious it got destroyed.
Now i'm really scared of flying near to the object with dji fpv.

@@Dzwonek-fe7bb i was also realy afraid, but i phushed me the same day to fly... i was on a daytrip, cras happend with first lipo, but i was realy mentali destroyed... keep flying in your comfortzone, it comes all back and the flying is amazing... also if you stay away from objects.
