A 19 Adoption: legacy of trying to meet the expectation of adoption, the implications this creates

In this video we go a little deeper into how the unavoidable need to meet expectations created by removal and placement with a non-biological family, need to be understood. The world views infants and children as blank slates who are imprinted by who raised them. this is completely wrong and results in the child carrying the burden an adult would struggle to navigate.
Adoption is an unnatural act; this needs to be understood to create the discussions needed and to alter some of the misconceptions that carry a heavy price tag forced onto an infant and child.
