A 20 the fog and the creation of an identity. Moving from natural to required.

In all cases of adoption and long-term placement, it is expected and required that the infant or child be what changes who they are to be part of. Our identity doesn’t naturally develop, it is altered and learned with the hope we can fit in. until we give up trying or we find a comfortable place to be. The reality is our identity is still learned not naturally brought into being.
The price tag of this is any time we face what we have no answer or response for. We need grace to be supported to learn. But sadly, this is not very often the case. As a result, we become isolated, reminded of what put us here in the first place.
