I think that you just summarized why "awakenèd" humans celebrate the human experience. ❤ I think as more and more people follow the path that you have been villafied for, we will debate less and less about it. You stirred the pot, kept the conversation going, and faced some undeserved ridicule. But many, many of us did not laugh, and many more will join us eventually. Hopefully, someday, humans will be aligned in our efforts to grow as one. Elephants in Africa that were hunted almost to extinction for the ivory in their tusks, have miraculously began NOT forming tusks. Tuskless female elephants continue to increase in numbers, I find this mysteriously magnificent.
Your explanation resonates within me as though something-consciousness, awareness-- is recognizing the explanation of itself.
I agree with you about consciousness. Unfortunately, many humans are living unconscious lives - like robots. Please keep sharing your findings and brilliance with us. Humans killing humans is just horrendous and overwhelming and not why this existence was 'created'.

People who don't recognize what they are -- awareness -- identify the self with the physical and psychological human (including epigenetics) and default to that often-vicious programming. That's the age-old choice we have: angel or animal. People pick. And what follows, follows.

Thank you Dr. Chopra. For me the realisation came while listening to another of your talks, when I understood if the very structure of our eyes (rods and cones for instance) did not develop the way they did, there would be no colour, shape or form to anything. Not even ourselves would be visible as we are. We would be consciousness. Like science fiction often portrays enlightened beings as pure light bereft of physical form. That is my understanding of how slender our opportunity is to be part of and observe this magnificent place we call home and how easily it could all not have been.

Since consciousness can be seen as being outside time it is likely that present thought can affect past actions meaning that understanding will cause the circumstances that were needed for it to come about. I agree with this thought train, sir.

I really looking forward to see a dialogue between Deepak and biologist like Rupert Sheldrake who is one of the prominent scientist in this topic. Rupert Sheldrake postulate the idea of Morphic Resonance and the force of habit in nature based on mind made in nature in which more dynamic rather than just randomly selected evolving. He is a kind of panpysichism in which may not be appealing to Deepak but defenitly not a naiv realism. I think Ruperts idea converge with counciousness in cosmos.

I THINK THAT CONSCIOUSNESS AS THE ONTOLOGICAL PRIMITIVE can create its on environement within the phy 11:18 sical structures of an individual,according to its capacities it has gathered until now.And in this way an internal pressure developpes leading to certain changes, which are translated in the physical area of the brain through certain epigenetic adaptations.Consciousness developes an internal pressure which is translated into physical structures,to enable the physical system to express consciousness in a better way.😊
Our body is the most complex machine that exists, tremendously ordered with many different systems working with each other in a way that until today not everything is understood.

To have this perfectly ordered evolution it is not possible without consciousness. It is like a snow doll that happened by chance, mood, randomly. The snow turned in to 3 balls stacked on each other and no consciousness was involved.. without consciousness there is no order possible.
Sri Aurobindo has given us a fine concept of evolution of consciousness. He has also said that his concept of evolution is different from Darwin Darwin's and even if Darwin will be proved defective in the future, his theory will still stand.

Thank you. Yes I strongly agree that the evolution is driven by consciousness itself. The explanation you made are clear and I understand mostly. I could listen to great numbers of testimonials on consciousness driven phenomenon as well as I could observe some personally. It seems that the it's very real.
If we consider subjective experiences primarily on this topic, apart from environmental factors, etc., that you've mentioned - this particular body has been experiencing gradual changes such as genetic expression, mutations/damage - how is it that inner subjective experiences have become clearer and clearer? No longer is inner (pure) consciousness (experienced by the mind) as a 'time gap' (initially), nor as 'flat' infinite space, but, has become experienced as 'lively-transcendence' that is accompanied by unattached flow of BLISS, light, waves of moving consciousness, and at times, total immersion in inner light; even during relatively 'rough days' and during inevitable days of tiredness, as an example. Doesn't matter.
Regardless of the aging process and the many bodily changes through time, inner consciousness has subjectively evolved . . . no matter the many factors of 'outside' influence. Evolution of my own personal consciousness must have been driven by consciousness, itself, and 'its' two-way, self-referral recognition, creating corresponding openings of neuronal and subtler srota pathways.
Evolution is not, therefore, confined to 'outside' influences, but rather by internal factors beyond environment, body, and even the mind. We, Dr. Chopra, have the same guru, and I believe He would be immensely proud of your accomplishments. I've always admired your understandings of modern science, Vedanta, philosophy, the body, the mind, routine, practices, etc. Your armor against modernist 'physicalist' schools of discipline (only) have opened the western world immeasurably. 🙏🙏🙏 ONLY when they realize that THE MIND IS NOT IN LIFE will they stop judgement. The mind always just wants to be right and so they defend this at the cost of harmony, oneness and love, which is ultimately God’s nature.
This is the state of
consciousness these identities/observation decks are at and this is part of our own game also cus if we are experiencing it then it has to be also part of us in this divine process of awakening of evolutionary whatever, it is so hard to describe because our true nature is so beyond anything we can imagine describe or even believe, but if we keep listening to the silence , then all possibilities are at least attainable and you start realizing anything really is possible just perhaps not in this game.
Although there is no they, there is no us, we are just one just manifesting in different ways but this is so hard to grasp even at deeper awakening states because this is how the earth/mind, this is how this dimension of the game was designed for, for a dualist ilusión/experience and as long as I am identifying with this mind I don’t have all the answers as I am too playing this game.
I can’t escape the illusion, I can’t evolve out of the illusion in this lifetime completely, all I have right now is the certainty of awareness and the sense of joy and liberation and the poetry
of the hope of the great awakening

Rocks, plants, animals and humans are the four existing, living components of the universe. Animals and humans are thinking while humans are only spiritual entities.
Qualitatively all above four are equally Conscious. Quantitative they are differently conscious.
Rocks are the least whereas humans are the highest consciousness.
Amongst human beings each one is aware differently depending upon his/her Consciousness.
Considering these parameters seeing some resemblance in what your opinion is about consciousness/evolution.
