GOT THE SIREN SOUND MS. TARA!!!!!!!!! And I found where my break when doing it!!!! So once we find the break how do we smoothen it and strengthen it???
I have a natural baritone but i love to sing high notes. I get this horrible and abrupt transition between registers. I can sing clearly in both the registers but that transition is just not seamless at all.😢
@@anastasiacayne Yes Anastasia, I do vocal warmups pretty regularly. What I've come to know is certain vocal exercises are better than the other ones when it comes to transition. Another thing I've noticed is that after recovering from nasal congestion or a strep throat, I find it easy to transition between head and chest voice!
@@AdeMark-ke2vxI usually avoid warmups during flu or nasal congestion so I've never tried. But I get your point, It would be interesting to find out how the transition is affected in such a situation
Nasality is a good thing overall though for singing in higher registers since it is correct foward placement. You will likely just be needing to balance your tone to bring the chestier sound to it. Sing a note with that strong nasal tone and without changing placement and keeping that nasaility there, try to yawn. It should help bring a more chesty tone to that area (called singing open throat, similar to how a lot of female vocalists approach rock music!) and balance it out instead of overly strong nasal. The good thing about doing the yawn to bring chestier notes up is that it works for both your head voice but also your upper chest voice before you start hitting that break area/passagio in your voice. Just remember the nasal resonance is important for the higher register and you DONT want to get rid of it! (A lot easier on you to start a higher note nasal and with good placement and then correct tone as you get comfortable on it instead of approaching the note wrong from the get-go). Also, you will hear the nasal quality a lot harsher than any other person would since your voice is literally resonating from inside you and are feeling it so it may not be as overpowering as you expect!.
I can transition but my mix sometimes starts at F4 or G4. I actually struggled using chest on F4/G4 around 1 year ago but since I don't know to mix more balanced I practiced using chest on those notes now I'm way more comfortable I can even do A4 at times more comfortably but above that its just painful but I've done C#5 with really thinned out chest...
Okay, but before you do the siren: Try a voice crack first. The top is head-voice, the bottom is chest voice, and everything inbetween (aka the siren) is mix.
and here wend you here my voice I didn't have a choch I was singing to a microfon wend I was with my shepes in the mountain, hope so you enjoy it is my voice

I have the opposite problem, I can’t sing in my chest voice. My voice teacher keeps telling me to sing from my chest voice and won’t tell me how to do so.
@@lese_keniwhen you speak, you use your throat so try to lower the resonance(where the sound is vibrating) down BUT you should still be in the same key, learning chest voice usually needs diaphragm support so learn to breathe to your stomach rather than the lungs, then sing while releasing the air from the diaphragm. If this helps your welcome
