I am very new to this so my video is not anywhere near the caliber to show you the true possibilities but it, I hope, will spark something new in you and you will have as much fun learning as I am....
this is my suggestion for supplies, this site has tools and wonderful tutorials, svg files for your cutting machine and much much more to help with paper bead making...

Very enjoyable. Your voice is like a lady Mr Rogers😊
I❤ this video for paper beads… pretty colors !!
Fiddlestixs!!! I haven’t heard that since my grandmother died. I’m 70 so my grandmother was alive, grew up, in a time where language was was very important. Behavior for a woman was tightly controlled and she could actually loose her “value” if a woman used bad language. Also, my grandmother had never worn long pants or shorts. I finally talked her into a pair when she was 84 and it was a particularly nasty winter with 6 feet of snow and temperatures below zero.
Ahh I’m sorry, fiddlestixs just started me on a path of nostalgia.
Love that you shared your lovely memory…❤️❤️
So beautiful thank you for sharing God bless you
Lovely. Im from Brasil. So cute .
Thank you so much for this lesson in bead making. Your voice is so soothing and you gave us some incredible advice. Thanks again.
Thank you sooooo much!❤️❤️❤️
Hello. i think i might have a tip for you. when removing the bead from the roller, give it a half turn the oposite way that you rolled the bead, then with your thumb of your rolling hand push the bead up the roller. i hope this helps. Thank you for the video.
Thank you! ❤️
Gorgeous ❤
I enjoyed your video. I too have a million quilt books that could have a new life. Please make more.
*I've started making beads recently and it's addicting. Most of the videos are from many years ago that I watched. Yours is the 2nd recent one I came across. I found it by looking for ideas & ways to use the beads I make. I tried many things & found the 1/8" dowl to be the best. Thank you for a nice share. 😊😊😊* Sharon in SC

What do you call the little pieces that you put in a dowel pin from the hardware store?
More quilt projects than you'll get to in your lifetime? What are you referring to exactly? 😉😆❤️
All my love and respect to all the ladies who organized and 'ran' the Vacation Bible Schools of our childhoods...but we've come a loooong way from Contact Paper wrapped Paperclip necklaces!! Still a great way to use up all sorts of paper. Thanks so much for your tutorial!

I just found paper straws to make the beads. You just glue them on and cut them off.
Great idea. I will try that
I wish I had a paper cutter machine
Beads are lovely...everyone says you have a beautiful voice...I cannot hear a word you are saying...
I went to my video and listened and the sound level is very good… nice and understandable… the trouble must be on your end hon…. ❤️
Thank you for your video, loved it. Can you please tell me, the bead roller your husband bought; can it be purchased at any hardware store and if I asked for it by this name would they know what I am talking about, I am very interested in making my own tools?
Yes! At any hardware store where tools are sold…. It’s actually called a bead roller and is a short metal tool with a slit all the way down the length of the piece… mine is put in a wood dowel… husband drilled the same size hole in the end of the dowel about 3/8 inch and glued the bead roller in the dowel..,❤️
@@FiddlestixAndStitches Thank you!
I forgot to mention that I also had lots of my sister's quilt magazines, I loved looking through them but when I moved out of state I had to give them up, I gave them to a thrift store. I wish I had come across your channel before. My family never understood why I wanted to keep them, all the possibilities a paper crafter sees 😑
How or where do I find the metal bead rollers? Thank you!❤
They are actually called bead rollers and are available in many sizes at any hardware store or place that sells tools… I got a dowel and cut it into six inch pieces and drilled a small hole in one end and glued the bead roller in…❤️
Can you use wrapping paper?
You bet you can! If it feels too thin you can back it with just plain copy paper….❤️
Hello where can I buy those tools they are not available in the Netherlands if I order in America ik have to pay with a creditcard we don’t have that in the Netherlands only rich people have a creditcard we pay by bank can you help me
Maybe you can find bead rollers on Amazon in your country.. any size knitting needle will roll a paper bead as well…❤️
I don't see how you get the bead off the roller without distorting it! It drives me crazy.
I have a tendency to wrap too tight and I’m kinda sloppy with the glue but if you are careful and not too heavy handed the beads slide right off very easily…❤️
@@FiddlestixAndStitches I've tried so many times but rarely have a bead that won't come off. I'll give it another try. I so appreciate your prompt reply!
How did you make the paper strips?
Hi there! I cut some of them on my scan and cut but you can just draw lines one to one and a half or even bigger inches apart and cut them with scissors…❤️
What came off pins they're
