40HP from unshrouding the valves ONLY. That's just over 3% gain. There are gains from bowl work as well. And high flow aftermarket valves. It all adds up There's a reason we've made 1000RWHP at 13psi boost (for instance). Most builds take 20+ to do that.
It's always good to hear the knowledge from a tuner & mechanic. A person can actually learn from a AED video.
Keep at it Shaun
As always, great info. Thanks for taking the time to explain this
Do a back to back test on a dyno, before and after porting. Some people say it's a waste of money on the coyote.
Ford wouldn’t have ported the Road Runner or GT350 heads if it didn’t matter.
Done many times already (how do you think I got my numbers and data?), but not with these 'newest' Gen3 castings.
@aedtuning8441 , you have the information but We want it as well
@nickb289 , I had Slawko port my gen 2 heads. I will never know how much it gained from my stock gen1 heads. But I would love to see testing done.
Very interesting 👍🏽
so if its a 40hp gain on a 1200hp car, then a 800-1000hp car porting heads aren't really worth it in your opinion?

@aedtuning8441 is it a worthy gain across the curve at least to have gen1 heads ported for a regular street tvs build?
@@TheManic.5-OH Yes, but of course that depends on who is doing the port work.
