Honestly since we can use all of em in battle, it doesnt really matter if you only aiming for the main game content But if im talking about optional content, i usually have cliff patty and ryza in front row For harder battle i prefer someone that can hold a lot of item, so they can heal the party in dire situation or damage the boss with bomb
