That’s a small block, dude
Coyote "Hold my beer"
Don’t listen to these guys, it an LS.
He loves Old school BBC’s
Very cool! Sweet 363!
Very interesting and exciting, you are a very knowledgeable young man, all the best, from Australia.
👍's up EG thank you for sharing
On this engine, would service intervals include checking the lash on the rockers?
Thank you for lot of information bro
Can you do a vid on stud girdles for the mains and the rocker arms and block fillers or filling of the water jackets?
I've always wondered coming from a budget build perspective what the best stroker combination is for an n/a very responsive mostly Street manual car. Because I've heard some 331s that are snappy as hell soon as you hit the throttle they are at limiter but I've also heard some 363s 393 and 408 that do the same thing I just don't understand rod ratio Dynamics enough to make the most educated analysis. Probably has more to do with camshaft selection solid roller vs. Hydraulic and obviously compression and head flow....
90% of an engine being “snappy” comes from a lightweight flywheel & pressure plate assembly.
I always questioned the added gasket maker around the water jackets on top or under the gasket as most manufacturers say not to do it, but you guys do this for a living and have built way more than us common people. What is your opinion on something like permatex copper spray on a btr small bore mls or factory ls9 type gasket for a boosted 5.3? Thanks
Copper spray won’t hurt anything. My personal twin turbo LS has copper spray on its Cometic MLX head gaskets.
@@JacobVillemain thank you
The two valves. Is it vital to make the two valves even as possible. To torque them to specs
What lobe sep angle is the cam?
why didnt you lash when you had both valves on the cylinder on the base circle? Work smarter not harder my friend. Looks like a nice piece!
What is the spring rate on the valve springs?
Also, interesting choice in Valve Spring for intended application. 8k rpm and the increased need for very good valve control. No use of Conical or Beehive style ??
Broke my heart when you put a carburetor intake on there. In my mind, a beautiful piece of machinery like that deserves a beautiful brain. Now it’s just a hot blond with the accompanying brain but no doubt she’s fast lol super nice engine!
700 lift...gentle cam...you funny guy..that's rowdy
Looks sooooo expensive!!
