    How long after toning can you bleach again ? Also if I have a level 9 to 10 yellow hair and want a blonde blonde but not icy nor golden which one should I go for ? Which formula ? 💕

    Level 9/10 prelightened. Toner rinsed out now as at 7/8 week, but too soon to go back to salon for half head and toner. I’m trying to figure out if a 10n be great to refresh that brightness and add some shine back in between visits, or would you really want to mix a couple of shades (e.g 10n and 10p) so it isn’t flat ?

      Hi
      Did you have any Luck ?
      I’m just learning SEQ (blondes).
      Definitely heard the N ‘s
      Like 9N can pull a little dark , you can clear it out some with the “OOO” (clear)
      You can Add it to dilute shades.
      Heard great things about 9P especially for some shine.
      And The 9VG .
      I got my hair to a 10 , myself, I’m still in shock . Was close to ruining it…
      Luckily, I had planned on cutting it.
      I learned tons this month though.
      I’m literally laying low for a week with Yellow ass hair😳😅.
      Trying to formulate Lol.
      Think I’m going with
      9VG
      9P
      9GI
      000
      (Maybe Some 9N)
      At least they are Demi permanent. I gotta make a decision 🙃🤞🏻.
      Can’t afford salons & over lazy stylists.
      So I’m learning how to do it myself .
      And that’s a long ass text. Woa, Sorry.
      I hope you’re having success.

      Can’t decide if I should drop a little 9N?
      A few have messaged me back. Really cool of them.
      But haven’t found an answer yet.

      So I used 6n for my root and 10n for my ends. I’d definitely say the N carry’s quite a lot of warmth for a root tap.. warmer than my natural colour. For the ends, n looks fine for me. It’s a neutral bright sandy tone. I’ll probably pop some P into my ends colour next time however :)

    Can you mix a 10n with a 9p to create something not too dark and not too ashy. Like a bright neutral tone?

    Hello thank you for the video! I'm thinking of doing a 8N for the shadow roots and 9V + 9GI for the rest do you think the 8N as will be ok for shadow root?

    • @ladybaabaa3294
      @ladybaabaa3294 2 года назад +3

      I don't know anything but have been researching all week about Shades EQ so I can buy the right combo of toners for my hair, and from what I can tell, if you use 8N on your roots, you'll get a neutral nice subtle shadow, and then with the 9V you'll get a cool violet ash tone which, when combined with the 9GI, should give you a little bit of an "irridescent" gold touch to brighten the violet, and that should also tie in with the 8N root colour as the 9V alone might be too ashy / cool when contrasted with the more natural 8N.
      It also depends what colour your hair is (was) already and how much of an overall colour you want versus a darker root. 8 and 9 are obviously close in lightness level, so good if you want the all-over blonde look. If you wanted slightly more contrast, a 7N might be good, pulled down a bit and then blended up with the 9V and 9GI.
      OR, you could mix a 7N and a 8N together for the root and then blend down to the 9V and 9GI.
      I really hope no one comes here and says all of that is crap as that will mean I don't know what I'm talking about! lol

    Would 10n and 9v on a level 10 be too dark of V? Would you suggest clear glossing the formula to make sure the v isnt too dark or cancelling on that lighter 10n? The basic hair does have stubborn minor yellow but still a 10 level. TY

    • @ReileyCollier
      @ReileyCollier  3 года назад +2

      10n and 9v definietly would work! Adding clear doesn’t drop a level, it just makes the processing time work slower. If you add some clear you’ll have more control so it doesn’t take too fast :)

    Hi. When you talk about using a filler, would you use less of the colour that’s got the red tone in it and slightly more of the other colour? I personally don’t like warmth, but wouldn’t want my highlights to go green!

    I have a grown out baylage with blonde highlights the base color is a medium brown color, pretty sure my dark natural roots are about a 4N or 5N. I would really want to try shades on my highlights to brighten them up can I put shades over my highlights and my lowlights be fine?

    • @ReileyCollier
      @ReileyCollier  3 года назад

      Yes! If you lowlights are darker than the level you are toning with, it won’t do anything to it! For instance level 9 on a level 6

    Would a level 10 be sufficient with
    9V
    9GI
    9P
    000
    Or would you add some 9N?
    Do I need it to Neutralize?
    Or the 9VG will take care of it? 🙏🏻😅
    Also , do you essentially eyeball measurements ( servicing a long pixie cut)?
