Thanks Amanda, this helps with turning “left “
    or “right”
    specified :)
It can be harder to follow when mirroring face to face :)

Thanks for saying turns are difficult. I have been dancing for less than three years but feel like turns are still a challenge. I loved watching what you did and know I can pause and rewatch over and over to perfect each turn. Grazie!!!

Well, now I know what I'll be doing for practice the next three months. Awesome technique, very thoroughly explained, thanks for the routine. I'm getting back into dancing and have found my turning skills... lacking. 😅 This should really help me brush things up.

Amanda, Thank you very much for explaining step by step the the TURN movement. You have made the process simple. Do you have any suggestion on how I can incorporate TURNS in lyrical dance for UPTOWN FUNK? I appreciate your response. Once again thank you.

Thanks Amanda. Your teaching is excellent. The lesson on spinning is very hard with regards to the full hip turn. Could you give some hints and practice exercise to help people who have this problem please? MUCH APPRECIATED.

    • @375DanceStudio

Start by practicing 1/4 and 1/2 turns on the same spot, give your body some time to get used to it and keep repeating it daily. You'll see the improvement overtime but you have to be consistent in your practice 😄

I know that the LRL 3-Step Turn for the Follower in the Samba - usually happens at the end of the Rolling off The Arm just before you do the Samba Roll (Shadow Volta Roll) or Reverse Roll.

For the standing leg on which you are spinning on, is the knee supposed to be locked and the leg always perfectly straight? I'm wondering how you manage to stay so securely planted on the ground... I tend to lose balance
