- Kristen and I ran the Bighorn 100-mile race in Wyoming on June 18th, 2021. This course is known for its huge climbs and copious amounts of mud! However, this year we were met with 100+ degree temps and little mud (but plenty of dust)!
Given the high temps (and the fact that this was our first 100-mile race), we opted to run conservatively, finishing in about 32 hours. The ultimate goal was to finish and that's exactly what we did!
If you're are looking for a beautiful course with lots of aid stations, this is the 100 for you! The race was well organized and the trail was well marked. Thanks to all that made this race happen!

Added to my to do list. Thanks.
Nice to see a video that highlights the course rather than showing the runner try to impress me with how many random people he knows from other races or who just keeps talking and talking.
Awesome!
Congrats to all runners. Thanks for sharing…
Amazing run! Well done!
Well done, congratulations! Thanks for sharing.
Stunning scenery lovely video
A little uninspiring finish line fans and staff! Thought they could have cheered and got a little more cranked up!
Great run!
Great effort!
Congratulations. Awesome job
Awesome man!
Nice work!
Approx how much time did you guys spwnd at the major aid stations?
It ranged, but average I'd say 15-20 min
lovely, 'grats!
Great video! I wasn’t familiar with this race until YT recommended your video. Looks like some amazing scenery. I may have to add this race to the list of ones to tackle. How much vertical gain is there on the 100 miler? Looked like some serious incline.
Thanks! About 18,448 ft total elevation change. Here's is a link to the strava activity: www.strava.com/activities/5498066695

No mile 69 update. Yugely disappointed. 0/10 stars. Do not recommend.
Seriously though, good job, dude!
