I have come to really enjoy the Talon's Art Creations sketchbook. An independent stationary and STEAM shop started carrying them along with the Fabriano softcovers I like to draw design plans in. For a thin paper it is surprisingly durable and bleed resident. My AD markers, alcohol markers, and highlighters stay on the surface. It even takes watercolour and gouache well. As I have been trying to get better at using a sketchbook regularly when I sketch, and not random paper scraps, this has become my current favorite.
I got the idea of using the thin art journal notebooks for my artworks from you. I use A6 notebooks. Now I have filled two of them. Thanks for sharing that idea.🥰
Hi, Just found you. I love your journals. I have been art journaling for almost 20 years. Yep, believe it. You taught me something new. Using stencil brushes for putting thick paint down quickly. Cool!!!
