If that’s at The Top of The World. My Grandparents lived on the Craig Ranch back in the 60s. I would come out and spend Summers with them. I remember helping pick up acorns when I was around 8. The leader gave me 35 cents. Wonderful memory’s! Ty!
I live south of Tucson. I remember going with my grandparents to pick acorns out by Pena Blanca Lake. My Grandmother used to say that once it rains they aren't any good. We would just crack them open and eat them just like that. It was backbreaking work. But we always had a picnic while there. Good times.
I live on long island, which is east of nyc and south of connecticut. We have many acorn trees in our neighborhoods here, except the acorns we have are much larger- ours are more of a circular shape about one inch long and one inch wide, normally with caps on them unless the cap has been pulled off somehow. Interesting to learn that other people don't know what acorns are and that they are different out west!
Great vlog Kitty! Such beautiful scenery! I loved the music 🎼 sounds so beautiful! Thank you for educating us on picking acorns, very interesting. Your food looked delicious too! Thank you for taking us along 💜
I enjoyed the beautiful scenery it was nice riding along with you and allowing us to see some of your daily life routines. Thank you for showing & explaining to us about the acorns. I can't believe that's your daily drive taking your kids to school. Be safe and have a beautiful week 💕
Hi Kitty! 👋 This was my fav vlog! I loved the scenery, information, and exploring new areas! That was such a gorgeous drive! Have a great 2022-2023 School year! 🎊🎉🌿🙌
Thank u for sharing with us! Your rez has beautiful mountains. Mine is nothing but flat lands in Oklahoma. Lol Luckily, when I visit my northern Arapaho family in Wyoming for ceremonies... we get to see the mountains. My husband is Navajo from the four corner area (Toadlena, NM) & his family lives off the base of the mountain. Thanks again for sharing! ❤
Great vlog and content, Kitty. I loved it, especially the beautiful Apache song. 😍 Unfortunately I was not able to find the song or artist on Spotify. 😞 Thank you for sharing your culture with us, always look forward to your videos. 😊 Stay safe and Blessed. 🙏🏽💫🪶🙏🏽🌻💗 ((Hugs)) from Cali

People go all over to get acorn, most have their secret spots. Size differs for each area. Never heard of anyone traveling to Cali for acorns though, so that is a good question.
Thank you for taking us on your road trip. I never seen acorns and they almost look like pinions. Your reservation has some nice land too! Great video! 👍👍
I was hesitant to put this one out because it's mainly driving footage. But it's all Apache country and so I did. Some say we have cheap land and live in the cheap part of AZ. I think it's beautiful and it always makes my heart happy to drive home 💙
