In my opinion, I would actually like a platformer in the Mario & Sonic series, the Olympics may be good but they are getting kinda old. Nintendo and Sega really need to start making a "proper" crossover game between the Mario franchise and the Sonic franchise.

Honestly, with Luigi's Mansion 2 coming to switch and the first one being remade for 3ds at the death of the handheld, I can see it being ported over again to switch so all 3 titles in the series are on one console

These patent renewals happen about every 10 years in order to preserve the rights to the games trademark. Trademark renewals almost always mean nothing.

To be honest, I just want Miis to be used more often. I just want a new Mii game, and I have not much else that I'm looking forward to from Nintendo.

I know we're getting a remake of Kirby and the Rainbow Curse but maybe we could get a spin-off or a sequel for Kirby but I hope we do get full-on remakes of both Triple Deluxe and Planet Robobot which that would be cool to see

If they were making that, it would probably be a Metroid Prime Remastered and Pikmin 1 + 2 situation where a digital version is shadow dropped while the physical version is set for a later release.

My hopes for this Upcoming June Nintendo Direct are that there hopefully is an HD port of Super Mario Galaxy 2, For that Mario Sports game if it isn’t a new game then in my opinion it should probably be either Mario Sports Mix or Super Mario Sluggers ports, For that Mario & Luigi game my thinking is that it could possibly be Partners In Time remake because when Alphadream was making those remakes on 3DS they Never touched Partners in Time, and maybe port over Yoshis Wolly World because I really think that those amiibo costumes for Yoshi are pretty cool to have.

I always hear people say, "Oh they need TIME to hype up a big new 3D Mario," as if they didn't reveal Wonder like a few months prior to it's release. Wonder did EXTREMELY well financially, obviously, and it just had the reveal trailer, and then a dedicated direct. They could eaaasily do that for a Switch 2 launch Mario as well. We'd get the game sooner, we still get a few months of anticipation and analysis, everyone's a winner.

@@Blubeans513 Ikr, it was so good until Mario Party 9, that’s when the downgrade began a bit, but that didn’t stop me from playing. I just only miss the Mario Party 6-8 era and sometimes still cry when I play them and think about how good they were. It’s just not the same with Mario Party right now
Metroid Dread was revealed in June 2021 and released in October 2021.
Metroid Prime 4 can definitely be revealed this June and released this fall.
My predictions:
Metroid Prime 2 and 3 (will probably do what they did with Pikmin 1 and 2 in the last June direct and shadow drop them right then and there)
Kirby and the Rainbow Curse (I actually love this game, not as much Triple Deluxe and Planet Robobot which I’d love to see come to the switch but I’m happy if we get Rainbow Curse. The patent renewal has got to mean something)

Star fox Zero really shines in its co-op multiplayer. It’s seriously one of the best teamwork-based multiplayer experiences I’ve ever had.

The Ultimate Paper Mario Game would be to merge the First Two Paper Mario Games together. I also just remembered that I haven't finished replaying the First Game on NSO as I have been too busy re-completing BOTW due to a Softlocked Save File.
It really isn’t the end of the switches lifecycle. There is a huge install base they will be making games for it for at least 2 more years and since the next system will be backwards compatible it will be a win-win

I’m a big fan of Metroid now and I love the remaster of Metroid Prime and I love it
But the game is not easy
Imagine if Nintendo trolled us by announcing the Booster Course Pass Volume 2, in a kind of "You thought it was over? No. TWO MORE YEARS OF THE SAME GAME YOU'VE BEEN PLAYING FOR OVER TEN YEARS, SUCKERS!" way.

I Pre-Ordered Paper Mario at Gamestop. I DIDN'T Pre-Order Luigi's Mansion 2 HD for a reason despite wanting the Game. My Birthday is 11 Days after so I need something for someone to get me for my Birthday.
I want Kirby air ride to return, a Mario kart that has optional double dash mechanics, Star Fox assault and Dino planet. Also a new DK game with either the tropical freeze 2d platforming, or bring dk returns to the switch in HD.
Or really wishful thinking, a DK 64 remaster.
Metroid isn't a system seller, Prime 4 is definitely coming to Switch even if it's a cross gen release

These are games what i'm hoping to see from the June's Nintendo Direct 2024: Donkey Kong 64 and Diddy Kong Racing coming to the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pass N64 library, The Legend of Zelda The Windwaker HD and Twilight Princess HD Ports, Super Mario Galaxy 2 Remake or Kirby Air Ride Remake, defienitily I would be happy with The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess HD Switch port, I don't need any other ports than that! I really like Super Mario Party, so hopefully the next Mario Party expands on its ideas. I don’t mind the lower star price or anything, and I’d be happy if they added similar bonus modes like partner party and river survival.
If we don’t get a Mario Party, I’m guessing we could get a new Mario Baseball or a Donkey Kong game.
Another mario party would be cool. If it were to happen, i would love to see mario party ds stuff mario party ds is my favorite ds game on the original Nintendo DS. I would find it cool if the next mario party would have minigames remade maybe one of the party boards in mario party ds. For example DK's Stone Statue or Bowser's Pinball Machine

Prime 4 is coming this year. It will be released again as a game of the year edition on the Switch Successor
since december i've been trying to beat every 3d zelda game. I've beaten ocarina of time, majora's mask, breath of the wild and tears of the kingdom and I played wind waker until the triforce quest. The accessibility to play wind waker on my wii with a pirated program is not good, so that downgraded the game for me. The sailing also kinda made it worse but the triforce quest literally made me quit because of how much rupees you need to spend and also how you spend 80% of the time doing nothing, just sailing. A wind waker HD on the switch or the switch's successor would be a dream, because I genuinely want to love this game
6:17 I want Kid Icarus Uprising HD on Switch 2 for the DLSS Upscaling as well as faster load times. I would also be satisfied if this year instead of a New Mario Party they just release 5 DLC Boards for Superstars from 4,5,6, 7 and 8.
