Late September 2020. The Noto Peninsula is known as the holy land of autumn squid. Finally, the eging game has been lifted in the Uchiura area.
We filmed the underwater footage of eging.
This time, I use GoPro to thoroughly film the moment when a bluefin squid latches onto the lure and how it moves during eging.
The water depth is around 10m. Autumn squids are in schools at this time of year, so you can expect various scenes to be filmed.
They basically notice the presence of the squid by the fall of the egg and the action of the egg by jerking it around, and chase it. And when the lure stops or moves slowly and steadily, such as a curve fall, it will hold onto the lure. This time, I'm going to film the movement of the bigfin squid to the lure by tip-run eging.
