    Aww Loni basically just told us that when she was in that “I don’t need no man” club, she was actually just lonely and putting up a front 😢

      It’s pretty obvious it was a front. I mean when Jeanie talked about her singleness and loving being alone, I believed her but when Loni would I knew it was bs. Everyone is different but when people talk about loving their singleness too much I start to feel like they’re overcompensating and I always felt like that about Loni. 🤷🏾‍♀️

      I dont know about that. You can be satisfied and single and not be lonely. You have different phases in your life and we should learn to enjoy each phase. Loni seemed like she had alot of fun dating and now she has a lot of fun in a relationship. You dont always need to be with somebody.

I let myself open my eyes and walk out of my comfort zone. It was the best decision of my life! I married my best friend, best fan and the love of my life because I let myself think outside the box and different from what everyone was telling me to do. I hope you receive what I'm about to say in no way derogatory. You are very fortunate to find Love, your best friend, and Love in your spouse.
      But, are you saying previous experiences led you to look outside of your comfort zone? I'm bi- racial myself and by your look (You are a very. Beautiful woman) appear to be bi-racial or multi racial, as Am I. So, I can see why your husband fell hard for you.
      You know what men find attractive, regardless of race. A woman that is amazingly attractive but, in that space where she is ready for something definitive and real but, at the same time willing to reciprocate the exact same things she desires for herself.
      I'm from the U.K. South London, Brixton Exactly So, although we have our share of the exact issues here finding interracial couples is very common. And, quite frankly why I exist.
      I can only guess you are saying you found Love and looked beyond race and saw your spouse for who he was and not solely who he was at first appearance.
      That is worthy and completely different than saying I married my spouse because he is opposite my race, innit?

    If I’m being honest I get approached more by guys out side of my race. Black men don’t really approach me nearly as much as other races. So I just feel like why wouldn’t I be open to dating outside of my race if the men in my own race don’t even really approach me. As long as they love and treat me well that’s all that really matters to me in my opinion but, I just don’t understand why a lot of black women in my experience get hate for dating outside of our race I feel like everyone wants and deserves love so who cares about the race.

    • @davidsauce5051

      Leah Michelle Because if black women understand we got dogged and rejected so many times, we eventually gave up on approaching a black woman, there’s plenty of times I just spoke or gave a good adult compliments (Hello, love your hair, or like how you dress today and get a very low thank you or sometimes nothing at all.) and I came at them in a old school gentleman fashion. Good black men are tired and won’t approach because we felt that as being a smack in the face

    • @davidsauce5051
      @davidsauce5051 4 года назад +2

      lovemeloveyou011 entitlements seem to be looking one way, because if someone holding the door or compliment something about me, I’m quick to say thank you, I find black men are way more humble than black women. Many of us don’t complain about our complexion just to be excepted. To back up what I’m saying check out how many black women are using skin creams or bleaching their skin or wearing hair that’s not even theirs just to be excepted in society. Talking about a frail ego? See some black women want to play this victim role and I find it to be bologna, because how one (black woman) are strong at one time but play victim next? But they continue to date the same type of man over and over again making the same mistake. Many nice successful black men out there but they jumping ship going to other melanated countries to date or just clearly dating outside their race because of the dysfunctional mindset many black women have. I read your paragraphs and it clearly shows that black women expect too much from the black man, but don’t want to give nothing in return.

    • @davidsauce5051
      @davidsauce5051 4 года назад

      lovemeloveyou011 Oh and black women want us to care about who we date, which we really don’t care because black women been dating white men for the longest, but in the black women eyes there’s to many black men dating outside their race now so it’s a big issue. Loving versus Virginia case made it the 14TH amendment when a white man married a black woman, yet you black women criticize black men for dating a white women or other besides his race? You got to be kidding me

    • @leahmichelle6632
      @leahmichelle6632 4 года назад +3

      David Sauce I think it’s okay for a black man or women to date outside of there race I feel as though maybe there’s just a lot of Mis communication between black men and women? I actually never have heard a black mans perspective on this issues so I find it very insightful and interesting. It makes sense on why black men would choose to branch out to other races especially if you guys don’t feel appreciated. I think it goes both ways that black women also don’t feel appreciated though. I honestly don’t understand why there is such a wedge in our community as a whole till this day. It’s just that I always wondered why a lot of black men would never approach me and I found it both interesting and frustrating at the same time especially when it comes down to things like you said such as saying thank you when someone holds the door open. I say thank you all the time because it’s respectful as for skin bleaching and the hair issues that’s always going to be a problem I think because a lot of black women have it ingrained in their brains that we aren’t good enough no matter what. I think that most women take it personal because sometimes it seems like no one wants to date black women not our own race and while people outside of our race are more willing sometimes it’s just a sense of who am I good enough for. I don’t bleach my skin though and I wear my own hair now like a lot of black women do now. A lot more black women are being more natural but, sometimes women want to switch up their looks. I will say this though I’ve never heard about a black men hate on a black women for dating outside of their race and there may be some but, I’ve mostly only seen hate from other black women about dating outside of my race. I don’t see dating outside of ones race as a form of self hatred (which is what I’ve heard) if you actually truly love and except yourself and you genuinely love someone for them and not because of their race then I say it ok

    Black women are always bombarded with criticism when they do date/marry outside their race. There’s always this pressure to be with Black men, even when Black men prefer non-black women. My Mom got upset with me the other day when I told her that a majority of Black men in this day-n-age don’t want us Black women, asking me where I got that mindset from. I got it from what I’ve experienced, and what I’ve seen and heard online and offline over the last 2 decades.

    This struck me, a woman as strong as Loni, weeping for loneliness, and the loneliness of her sisters. As a white guy, I never had a racial choice when I was looking for a wife. They just never came along. Having said that, I don't see how a barrier formed from a skin colour could block a love of two souls for each other. I have met women for whom I felt no physical attraction at all, only to find out that they were beautiful in countless ways once I spoke to them. If attraction can punch past that, how can it not be victorious over melanin? Each of the women on this panel is gorgeous, but so vulnerable. A simple thing like being met at the airport, having a man be loyal to her moved that poor woman to tears. What? Isn't that supposed to be how it works?
    I am monogamous to the core. I am literally incapable of cheating on my wife, and of course I do things for her, I love her. Married for 31 years, we own each other. Loni is right, everybody deserves to be loved like this and certainly skin colour should not be any sort of barrier to finding it for anybody.

One of his female friend’s mom who is mixed if another race told him that he should only be dating “mixed women”. According to their logic, it wasn’t the fact that I wasn’t “good enough”, it was the she’s not “pretty enough “. At the time he was someone who received disability due to being shot when he he was a teen 9 times, no GED or diploma and bad credit. But, wasn’t good enough for him😂 I’ve taken accountability for my bad decisions.

    • @bpindermoss
      @bpindermoss Год назад +1

      @@flawlessvictory6254 Your story struck me. Love is a gift from God. If we look at the family structure, it cannot be improved by any change from mankind. The one child policy in China for example, was evil to the core. They tried to make change in their population without applying love, but instead, some weird philosophy derived from communism, to the immense pain of all involved. Just as mankind could not improve on the gift of family from God, so can no one improve upon the most basic of relationships, man with woman. It either works or it doesn't, and cannot be forced. As a man who has been married for over thirty years, I have come to a few conclusions. Race means nothing, it's a human construct and over emphasized. Marriage, after the initial attraction, is more a meeting of the minds enhanced by the physical and spiritual sides of the people involved. Cultural differences may well be a cause of failure for a relationship and are more important than skin colour. Also, there are a lot of people in the world, your guy is out there. And how do we know that the love we feel is genuine and worth the effort of developing? Read 1 Corinthians, 13 in the New Testament and ask yourself, does the way I feel in love match up to the standard that God has set out for his people? It is easy to conform to the patterns of this world and think you aren't as pretty as the standard of the day, but the man who wants you will be the one who looks much deeper than your skin. To him, you are the finest gift he could ever receive. He will be the one who sees your heart and says, "This woman and no other. No woman even comes close to her." The signature of God on his creation, is the beauty that we see. Look at yourself and see the handwriting of God.

It is so refreshing to see black women set aside pride and ego, and just be real about wanting love and solid companionship. My mother was that woman who gave up on finding a partner and by the time she realized that’s what she really wanted, it seemed like a daunting problem to remedy. As a son I felt almost powerless because I had a very full life and I couldn’t jump in and help mend her broken heart. Though I am not against interracial relationships, many of us Black Women feel there is already a shortage of available good Black Men in our community, and when a massive number of Hispanic Women raced to sleep with Black Men upon arriving to this Country, that deeply hurt us emotionally! 😒 It also hurt Hispanic Men who risked their lives to get these Women to America. It probably wouldn’t have hurt as much if it had happened gradually. Also, when a large number of Black Men were willing participants, we felt betrayed by them, especially since we have always stuck by, and supported Black Men, even when we had complaints about some of their behaviors.

    • @JRCGuitarist
      @JRCGuitarist 2 года назад +2

      @@Blossom-gf3kx I think the problem is wasting time over feeling betrayed, albeit a valid feeling. It’s true that it’s a betrayal to an extent, but it’s a lesson that you too can broaden your options. Let them do them, Black women can’t make them love us, you go and find love if that’s what you need. Focus on needs and less on race. Black women do not owe Black Men loyalty at the expense of our finding the things we need to not only survive but also be happy. I choose singleness due to not wanting to deal with the issues that come with marriage, but many Black women actually need someone. So, go ahead and meet men outside of your race.
      As far as Hispanic men and women, I think all of that is irrelevant. Black Women need to focus on healing, learning, and exploring.

      charmaine jangano I don’t think that a lot of their fans knew they were half white. You have to remember when they were coming up, it was at a time when social media wasn’t around so if you didn’t want people to know something about you, they didn’t. As long as their show ran, they only mentioned being mixed once when their real father showed up. I’m now beginning to understand why they gave them adoptive parents to begin with. They just wanted to target a black audience.

    It's important to note that black women do not NEED to look for love from other races but we have to be open. A lot of successful, beautiful and complete women are out here looking for love but are scared of love like they mentioned and sometimes we end up self sabotaging when we meet good men because of this feeling of being scared. There's nothing wrong of what racial group you're attracted to. The problem is this and a lot of people especially black women tend to belittle. The men that you're attracted to (white men) aren't into black women on a collective. Out of all the ethnic groups in america, white people stick to their own the most. Even when they do go outside their race which is rare, they predominantly go for Asians and Hispanics. Take Loni Love, if we're going to be brutally honest here, her white man is only with her to boost up his career as an actor. Look at their Instagram followers, loni has 1.7 million followers while her white man has 42 thousand. Come on now! We all know what's going on. We have no problem calling out non black women when they're being sneaky with their black male partners. Let's call this out as well. Not just white men but non black men in general aren't waiting in line for black women. Non black men stick to their own women on a mass level. When they do marry or date outside their race, most of them aren't with black women. The reality is that, barely 1% of black women will find true love from a non black man. While the rest of 99% will have to find a way to make it workout with a black man or buy a dog so at least you'll have someone with you when it's your turn to leave this world. I know it may sound harsh from what I'm saying but this is the reality and truth of our situation as black people. Everything I said about black women, this also applies to black men as well.

Every women doesn’t want the lifestyle of being a independent woman/ boss chick or “not needing a man for nothing”. The first man it doesn’t work out with gets thrown in your face and is used as a reason why you should be independent and not desire a man. Or when we do get a man we are taught to always have to “keep up” with black men, always look our best and be on our man’s toes. Yes men are men but other races allow you to relax and just be yourself, allow you to love without all the pressure. If it works great, if not someone else is meant for you.

    The average black woman does not respect the black man and the stereotypes of a black woman as being difficult is true. Men are realizing instead of fighting with the black woman leave her alone and go find marriage and relationships outside your race. It’s happening for real and this is not what we wanted. Take responsibility as well for choosing Tyron and the damage that came with it.

    I am surprised that they didn't discuss public perceptions of beauty -- a lot of times black women aren't considered beautiful so it's not that they don't want to date outside their race, it's that people don't want to date black women. I think Michelle Obama did a lot to change people's perception of black women, being strong and feminine.

      Black men definitely do get criticized as well. Remember for a while black men was side eyed for bringing home "white women". I believe the difference is that men do not care as much about scrutiny as women do so black men just aren't talking about it because they don't like to talk. Some black men will occasionally mention though that they do indeed get it too.

    I agree for the most part but this conversation has me torn. it sounds like there is an insinuation that dating outside of your race is some sort of golden ticket for black women. For me it doesn’t matter the race just if you are being treated right. There are bad relationships of every race, they just go about it differently. So to equate being happy and less lonely with dating another race sounds like your coming from a hurt place. Though I agree with most point and can relate, Being relatable Isn’t always the same as being positive.
