Thankyou Paul, I’m hoping it picks up a bit more, it’s still my best performing video for the first day. I honestly don’t know what you need to do these days to get into the YT algorithm
Nice turn around and nice back arch 😂 At one point I thought this looked familiar but must have just been a snippet on instagram or flash backs to the white Dacia 🤷🏻♂️
I promise we do look after some of our vehicles (like the VW campervan) but I like to annoy David with how manky the Dacia is as it sits on the drive next door to his perfect cars
Great video Dave, just goes to show what can be achieved at home with very good results, fantastic job. Spent a few days machine polishing my car and appling a ceramic coating in Febuary and it took me the rest of the week to recover ! Fair play to the guys that do it full time . Keep up the fine content
Thanks mate, that’s it mate and that’s what my channel is all about, what can be done on your drive way by yourself. I don’t know how guys can do it day in day out, I don’t think my back could handle it.
Thankyou Gordon, really appreciate the comments. Yeah i feel you need to be honest with stuff like that, if you dont have the luxury of a ramp for polishing your going to need to get into some uncomfortable positions and for me it does get quite sore on the back. I still love doing it though.
All that in under 20 mins mate , I bet you had a couple of hours of film to edit down, music was brilliant , perfectly balanced with your voiceover , I think maybe one criticism is you sound a little echoed , maybe sit closer to the mic 🎤 Yet to use some Gyeon , that tar remover looked especially good , again congrats on the 1K milestone mate, 👍
There was lots of footage to go through and try pick out what i wanted, as you know you spend more time editing than actually washing the cars sometimes. I really like the gyeon products, they are a little more expensive than other brands which can be a bit off putting but the tar remover is a great product. Yeah the voiceover stuff has allways been a bit sketchy for me, i need to get a proper mic for doing them as the basic built in ones arnt great.
I enjoyed this video. Nice relaxed pace 😎 and I like that you showed machine polishing doesn’t have to be in some climate controlled body shop. I have been detailing my own car and also friends and families cars for just over 2 year but always been afraid to machine polish them as I was always told it shouldn’t be done outside and I have don’t have access to an indoor facility but you have proven that isn’t always necessary.
Thankyou, I allways used to think the same then one day thought well I’m not going for perfection so as long as I’m carefull surely I can get good results. Like I said in the video look out for a nice overcast day with no wind and just take your time.
Thankyou John, the snowfoam is from a company called squid ink detailing and is called alkafroth. This one is an alkaline formula for stronger cleaning and they also do a ph neutral foam called froth. Both create an excellent blanket of foam which is long dwelling.
Another fantastic video Dave, that little Fiat is transformed. I use some of the same products and i will be trying the new Infinty wax shampoo soon. Keep doing your great work.
Really enjoyed this video Dave as my daughter has a Fiat 500 too so I've shown her what her car would look like if she didn't have someone like me looking after it! 🤣 That tar remover looked really impressive and as always your finished work is brilliant. Keep up the good work sir and I'll look forward to seeing the next one. 👍
@@DavidMcBay I see your using the nice chunky detailing brushes again. I know you mentioned there from kdn but they don't have any at the moment but have you seen the carscope ones ? They look like they'd be an absolute joy to use.
Yes mate I seen that Paul got them last week, they look a very similar style to the one I have. Honestly it’s such a good brush, I’d actually like to grab a few more when they get them back in. The carscope ones are quite expensive.
Yeah I thought it was around that, just seems a little steep no matter how good the quality is. I think the one I have was only £5 and it’s lasted well
Dave your confidence is growing so much more with every video and your editing is getting better too! The contamination in that roof definitely looked something similar to ash/soot we used to get in our old house but a contact wash cleared it no problem - although obviously I clean my cars a bit more often than that 500 🤣🤣
Thankyou Mark, i really need to make the switch away from IMovie tho as its super basic. Yeah i expected that sort of thing would come off really easily but she said it was on their other car aswell so who knows mate. Thats very true, i think this car has only seen rain water for the last 2 years.
@@DavidMcBay 😬😬 it doesn't help when the paint is neglected but some people just have other priorities lol gives people like us content though so all good 🤣
No mate i allways wash cars with it switched off 😂 In all seriousness tho im using my back up K2 at the moment as im waiting on a replacement hose for my main machine.
5 star treatment. well done mate.
Thanks mate
Love the content buddy. Much prefer the reviews and product testing
Thanks mate, as you know that’s all
It’ll be on this channel now 😉
Great turnaround David looks new again can’t understand why this video hasn’t gained more traction it’s a good one 👍🏻👍🏻

So satisfying Dave to see a car turned around like this, good video mate👍
Thanks Martin, I do love getting my hands on a good ole disaster detail.
Nice turn around and nice back arch 😂

Haha quasimodo out doing some polishing mate!
Its actually the girl with the dacia's sisters car but yeah this hasnt been on the channel before
@@DavidMcBay there you go then I could sense it was family 😂

Great job!
That sad grungy looking car really turned into a beauty…
Thanks for your efforts.
🙏👏👍
Thanks Antony, i was really happy with how this one turned out, i have a bit of a soft spot for the fiat 500's

Smahed that minor detail out David
Thankyou David.
Great content and great results, showing what can easily be achieved on your driveway. You've given that little car a total refresh.
Thanks mate, thats exactly what im try to show with this channel. If your into cars and car cleaning you can achieve so much on your driveway.
Great transformation. Wee motor looks fantastic now.
Thanks mate, it came up really well.
Top job Dave 👍
Before and afters always amazes me 😎👍
Thankyou Kevin. The transformation on this one was great
Great clean, need me some new products after watching this. Cheers Dave
There’s a few good ones in this video Dave, been really impressed with the infinity wax synergy lite coating
Great video. I do enjoy your content and honesty about getting a sore back. Keep it up fella 👍

Thanks Ryan, you’ll need to let me know what you think of it mate. Just wear nose plugs when you use it 🤣🤣
Excellent video mate, I really enjoy this type of video. What an incredible transformation.
Thankyou David, i was really pleased with how the car came out.
wow . fantastic transformation . 2 days on the outside , Gonny need a week for the inside ;-)

Great video Dave and great results. I want to use a DA polisher on my car this year, hopefully I will get round to it.

Oh new video pal
Should have said on our group
I didn’t even think mate, I hardly use Facebook for the channel, just not used to it.
Good video! Same car as mine!!!

In Deutschland würdest du eine saftige Anzeige bekommen wenn man vor der Haustüre sein Auto wäscht🤣
Is it true in Germany you’re not allowed to wash your car on your drive?
