FYI. Oman recruits thousands of women from African countries to work as domestics and are severely treated, sexually abused by the man of the house who recruited them. The women are told they will be paid and can help their families at home. Some have died and are sent back to the recruiting agency in Oman for their bodies to be sent back to their families. African women are being told not to go to Oman. Google BBC documentary about Omans treatment to domestic women from African countries. Eye opening, be careful!!! This is true!!!

I would love to travel young as well, but I cant figure out if its better to country hop often and travel the world, or to stay (if possible) in each location for a longer period of time (thereby visiting fewer countries), as in staying in each country for at least a year? Do you feel like you get enough cultural immersion not being in one place for a long time? What would you recommend?
