- Hey lovely people. I travelled from Dubai to Oman to visit the beautiful city of Muscat and visit some tourist sites.
Places to visit:
Mutrah Corniche - Curved waterside area offering paved paths & artful shelters, plus views of the water & mountains.
Al Alam Palace- The ceremonial palace of the Sultan of Oman.
Mutrah Souk- Long-running, old-fashioned bazaar featuring household goods, clothing, spices, antiques & more.
Bait Al Zubair Museum- Bait Al Zubair is a museum, located on Al Saidiya Street, Old Muscat, Oman.
Qurum Beach- Nestled alongside the Qurum Natural Reserve lies a pristine sandy beach full of ecological wonder, making it a haven for nature enthusiasts.

I went in March during Ramadan. I loved it n left my heart there. If you go during winter…. Just makes sure your bring plenty of mosquito repellents. it so so peaceful and clean. The people are so friendly and helpful. As an American please respect the culture and cover up. Although it’s not mandatory it is very appreciated 😊

The Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “No woman should travel except with a mahram and no man should enter upon her unless she has a mahram with her.” A man said: O Messenger of Allah, I want to go out with such-and-such an army, but my wife wants to go for Hajj. He said: “Go with her.” Narrated by al-Bukhari, 1862
Muslim (1339) narrated from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “It is not permissible for a woman who believes in Allah and the Last Day to travel the distance of one day, except with a mahram.”
I’m hoping you are married and your husband is with you. If you are not and you are posting yourself sinning openly by traveling alone, what sort of a man do you think would even want to marry you? And for what? If you are not married and traveling alone, and openly disobeying Allah (and the one who sins openly is much much worse than the one who sins privately) what do you hope to achieve? Money? Fame? Opportunities in this lowly worthless dunya? Is it even worth it?
And I am advising you from a worse position than you, as no doubt you are probably better than me in many things but we are the best nation because we call to the good and prohibit the evil.
Also for every Muslim woman you inspire to follow you in what you are doing, you will acquire their sin as a well as you are a daeeyah to your lifestyle and disobedience to Allah. And Allah Knows Best.
And there are many hadiths which speak of the prohibition on a woman travelling without a mahram; they are general in meaning and include all kinds of travel.

I would say cash is usually better in souks, some people may have card machines but I’m not sure :)

whens the best month to travel?
I would say anytime but it might start getting hot in round June, July and August :)
For Salalah the best months are June,July and August but other parts of Oman best time to visit is from October to March the weather is cooler.

Yes you can eat it it’s like chewing gum and you can use it for healing purposes as medicine, this is well known within Somali culture
