So the more expensive option is made from the lesser material? Maybe there was a mixup but 7075 aluminum is superior to 6061 in every measurable characteristic except material cost. Both will do the job and last a while, but why charge more for less?
question: my leg is too long for my own bike(my knee hits the tanks wrong spot), can i get my leg down more with rearsets or do i have to get a rearset mounting plate
That depends what bike you have, which I don't believe you mentioned. Determining the best solution for you might require a longer discussion than a RUclips comment, so I definitely recommend you call or email our Gear Geeks for further assistance. 877-792-9455 or cs@revzilla.com. -DrewZilla
Do you guys mind measuring how much height does it increase in its maximum position, iam 5ft7 and have trouble hanging onto the tank. Iam not sure this would be enough for a guy like me. Thank you
It all depends on the bike model and the model of rearsets you choose. Generally rearsets provide at least one inch up and one inch back, often a bit more than that. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/lightech-rearsets
You might want to try some grippy tank pads. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/techspec-snake-skin-tank-pads-yamaha-r1-r1m-r1s *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/techspec-xline-tank-pads-yamaha-r1-r1m-r1s *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/stompgrip-tank-pad-r1-r1m-2015-2016

For Ninja 300 Rearset from Lightech, do I need any longer brake lines for the ABS model?
You should not need longer brake lines. -DrewZilla
I will definitely get a set for my FZ8
