I came for Cyberpunk 2077 and stayed for the cyberpunk. Seriously, this entire album is a cyberpunk masterpiece. Dark lyrics? Check. Electronics and synths? Check. Bleak atmosphere? Check. It's got it all. And to top it all, they're amazing and talented artists.

I'm not amazed why they are not in mainstream media. They are simply too good for it. I made my journey through my favorite song on this album, starting with bullets(as probably most here ;)), going through Kings of Speed, Controlling Crowds(at first it was a little "not my type" but after I listened to it with proper attitude it became perfect) and now after few years of listening I'm in absolute love of Chaos. This song ... no words to describe it. I hope they play it on my funeral ;) Cheers Archive fans. This is subjectively the best of their album out there!
Archive evolves as you explore them more. Personally, it's either this album or You All Look The Same To Me as their best. The transition from Finding It So Hard to Fool is just awesome in that one. But start with Again and move on to Junkie Shuffle. Those were the first songs I ever heard from Archive and, even now, they make me tear up ever so slightly. Also there's a B-sides song for this album called The Empty Bottle. If you like Kings of Speed, you'll love that.
I have to say thanks to CD Projekt RED who is working on Cyberpunk 2077. Because of them I know this great band and its special and amazing music. Imagine if at the end of Cyberpunk 2077, the credit song would be Bullets ♫ :3
Archive literally went from a band I didn't know to one of my favorite bands within the span of a month after that Cyberpunk 2077 trailer came out. Hear hear!
I've been listening to Archive for a while, and I'm a big Witcher fan, but I never made the connection with the Cyberpunk trailer until I saw this post. The song was familiar, but I thought it was some song from Radiohead... Now I know better. Quite fitting really.
That's the exact reason I came here to listen to them as well. At first I kind of didn't like it because I thought it sounded like everything else. But after a while when you've grown accustomed to it you actually begin to enjoy it considerably much. Now I only wish I had found them earlier because then I wouldn't have over-listened my other favourite bands. :P
Despite the whole album being literally a masterpiece, I feel the first four songs on it really strike a chord in my soul. Each song gets better as it goes along but within and throughout, first four? My best pick.
Truly one of the most impressive artists live. Saw them in zurich last year on a small venue with ~ 300 people. Everybody was so engulfed in those haunting sounds

Over the years, Archive's band members have been through a revolving door , they have come and gone, but one thing for sure, every single musician in the history of Archive are outstanding and professionally trained.
The balls on these guys... They end the initial album with a song that states 'You could end everything right here' just to tell us they know we'd have been happy with everything to that point. But they release the part 4 album which takes the concept in new directions and maintains the quality of this album. I imagine they wrote more songs than they wanted for an album as most bands do but ended up so happy with the results they just recorded and released the lot. I'd like to thank the french for funding this band while they were still relatively unknown. The support they get over there is crazy! Edit: oh and thank you archive for being a true variety band. I love the 70s synth prog rock trip hop pop thing you've got going.
Despite how much I adore this entire album, quiet time onwards is my favourite portion. There's so much atmosphere and I find it really easy to get myself lost in it all.
Made me remember why I liked techno and it's variants again. Music is a bit repetitive (read "Of course it loops a lot it isn't rock this is the whole damn genre it's primarily mood music dumbass"), but it's just (ellipses for effect)... so good. It feels like you're meant to slow down, and this is really one of the few albums I've ever heard that is a full work of musical art - you should hear the album, not the songs. I adore it.
I saw they on thursday the second time live after seven years with the orchestra and it was a ear and eyecandy again Great Band real psychedelic Independent rockmusic and totally underrated. After Thom Yorke my favourite live gig this year.
Best thing I've heard in ages by miles,i'm off to see them live in France even if it means travelling that far from UK, only thing is will 1 show be enough............

I am sorry but the song Kings of speed just blew my mind! what amazing sound and the voice.... Damn, it was an instant LOVE! Only the second song in my live that I immediatly fell in love with. Can't wait to hear more of Archive!
While on maryjane and surfing you tube I bumped on "1 million fps slow motion video of bullet impacts by werner mehl" Orlov 152. Clicked to watch it this song playing on the vid...I became a fan of Archive that day!

Few Albums this long are so consistent in their high quality throughout. Superb stuff, conjures up powerful imagery and emotions.
