- Federal court is not in session today, after accused Sarah Lawrence College sex cult leader Lawrence "Larry" Ray was removed from the courthouse via stretcher.
In other news, a hearing began on Wednesday on the defense's motion to dismiss a murder charge of "Doomsday Cult" prophet Chad Daybell. Finally, after a few days of delays, opening statements were presented Tuesday in the federal trial of former Theranos COO Sunny Balwani, who is being charged with 2 counts of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and 10 counts of wire fraud.

Why do all the stories about this case mention the dormitory move in only in passing as if it were normal?
Exactly, that draws a big question mark. That school and the faculty there are also responsible.
Yeah the college was negligent. They were young adults and weren’t really sure about the situation and easily manipulated but when concerns were expressed to administrators someone should have stepped in.

From what I’ve read, it seems this man possibly targeted Naomi specifically. He parked his truck strategically nearby, avoided cameras, paced and waited outside the store, dumped her car. Organized guy.

Honestly if I was a juror on the Ray case I would be annoyed not sympathetic and I would assume he is faking it to delay things and distract.
