Ok so maybe I’m dumb and can’t figure this out. But if they can only use stuff available to the public then why can’t we buy those continentals and only can be used by pros?
To test it, also probably takes a long time to manufacture and build up stock so they give the first ones to the pros. Also could be enough ready for everyone and just to build hype for the realse but I think it's the first one I said.
wait, if the tyre isn't available to the general public, then is it UCI legal? I thought the components must be available to the general public to be considered UCI legal, no?
Yip for those that don't realise , the 'proper ' Australian national Sports colour is GREEN and GOLD , Ineos or pinarello could have done there homework and paint it GOLD not bloody canary yellow , Lucas Plapp must just look down and laugh
@@marcelr.9035 can confirm this, my mechanic told me one day when servicing my bike he couldn't work out what was wrong with my brakes, last thing he thought was the simplest of actions, try the other brake😂 Run my rear to the right shifter! Always have personally, but he said 95% of his customers (in Aus) run in the other way
Pinarello makes me laugh. They tout the availability of a rim brake version of this model but either way you go (rim or disc), it’s electronic shifting only. Was going to buy one of these until I found that out. Nothing will stop me from using Campy mechanical. Pinarello can suck it.
Why don't they make the bike right on the limit 6.8kg? That's what a team like Inoes should be doing my bike is a 6.5kg de rosa with mid depth wheels don't understand why they would make a high level rider carry around a extra 0.4kg?
bit underwhelming for a nat champs bike. you'd think the team could of had a better paint job mocked up. Dude is national champ. let him be flashy. He can only ride it for one year!
@@jordanrowlands8159 He's a fcking aus champ , not a world or olympic champ. Even GT winners simply get just a small dab of color on their bikes to denote which GT it was. Like wtf are Ineos supposed to do, paint his entire bike in aussie colors? Like who the fuck is he even in the Ineos lineup.
Green and GOLD! Jeezus!
Wow, it just looks fast. The attention to detail is fantastic, inspiring.
Absolutely stunning 🔥
This bike is sick. I cannot even afford the pair of bottle cages..lol
Stunning
What size frame is this?
I love my pinarello . 2008 with campag.🖖🏼
can you tell me more about -3D printed chain guide and guard due to the larger chainrings ?
can we please know what bike size they use??
Ok so maybe I’m dumb and can’t figure this out. But if they can only use stuff available to the public then why can’t we buy those continentals and only can be used by pros?
I think it's related to them using latex tubes with the tubular tyre

They are 'available' for public, but always "sold out"...
Ah. The ol loophole.
Did he measure the weight with bike computer in place?
Probably
Dam, that DOGMA is nasty😎

Wow like it a lot Can this be ordered by pinarello company?
Pretty.
Surprisingly good weight for a large chainset, disc brakes and 50mm wheels.
Indeed. But don't forget the pros ride tubulars. So if you build the same bike with clinchers you might end up 200-300g higher
Lucas Plapfth
Green and yellow, please correct yourself. Green and Gold 👌

That's Australian Gold my friend and don't you forget it.
Green and gold. Just sayin' ;-)
Was the video cut just as Alex grabbed the wrong break to stop the back wheel spinning :D (unless Luke Plapp has his brakes wired UK style?)
Pretty much all Aussies run the rear brake to the left lever
@@marcelr.9035 Thx! Learned something new.

does someone makes and sell those small stickers for valves? :)
white bike always catches eyes!!!
7.16kg!!!? Just had one built in a 56 with SR and ultra 45 wheels, no pedals, garmin or cages 7.7kg!? Will be over 8kg with computer and pedals.
Mine weights justst over 6.8kg with pedals, size of the frame 50 ,seriously. And i got a dogma f12 that is 6.6kg
👍👍👍👍👏👏👏🚴🏻♂️🚴🏻♂️🚴🏻♂️🇫🇷🇫🇷🇫🇷🇫🇷
The name sticker on my bike is just as good as his. Might even be lighter. 😐

green and gold...not yellow
Color blind?
Whatever mate
Bro it’s yellow
Costs more than a brand new small sedan car
Probably, yes
Seems a little unfair that that version of the Continental isn't able to be bought outside of the company
What did he say at 04:33 ? I agree with him - that tape looks like shi....mano top-quality tape.

I'm sorry, but it's only a fine on this one. You didn't have two water bottles, let alone one... No bell.
Green and YELLOW?!? Mate it's Green and Gold! Such disrespect!
instantly thought of the 12th man
I need sa road bike to train it😞 someone there who will provide to my first road bike pleassws😭
This bike faster on rim brake mode

Pinarello Dogma ak61 looks Better
Ugliest bike in pro cycling.
what? this a beauty
@@jonatanleandoer9006 the only part on this bike that shows he’s aus champ is a pissy little bit on the forks. Poor performance and effort from ineos
