Man I watch about a thousand videos in RUclips on every music that they put so loud and all this crazy music with the boom boom boom that you cannot understand the person who's trying to explain they work it and you got nice relaxing jazz and which every clown out there will do the same that you doing😊😊😊😊
Nice job. I have an 06 S430 4matic I've done a complete suspicion overhaul on. These cars intimidate a lot of people but they're actually very simple to work on. I love my S430. Take care.
Good on you for having a go at repairing, what will likely end up a fully functional and reliable vehicle. ( The OCD part of me would have loved to have seen you clean and respray the brackets in black paint to look OEM ~ oh well ).
Wow! Can't believe someone would leave the vicegrip in there and you gotta watch out for that Gunny Mcgunderson. Hopefully no more surprises like that. You guys surely do a great job fixing up others messes.
I had a 90 4Runner that someone broke the coolant housing water neck, siliconed it back together, retapped it 1/2-20 and torqued it with the impact and prayed.
@@frenchineer I got a new water neck but has to use the 1/2-20 bolts. To its credit though it didn’t leak. Should have used the locking pliers I guess lol.
@@frenchineer and you’ll be faced with the same issue. What to do to fix something someone else remedied? Decisions decisions. I assume you’ll need a new oil pan?
Ideally a new oil pan is the way to go, but that's pretty involved with the front drive. Maybe tapping better threads first, though luckily the current solution is working well.
I'm glad you enjoyed the video! The valve block was a used Mercedes one I bought at a junkyard. There is always a risk a used one could have an internal leak, so it's something to keep in mind if you want to go that route.
Get yourself a icarsoft mb 3.0 scanner. It's specifically for Mercedes. They have like 8 different languages installed as well so you shouldn't have any issues. Good luck with your car.

Love to see the channel getting sponsors. You do great work and it's a great representation for each brand.
Thanks!
Just playing everything so well that step by step that now I'm ready to do mine😅

Thanks! I agree, and I think they get a reputation because they can be more expensive at a mechanic.

Your channel rocks man
Thank you!

That’s horrible! Did you keep using the new threads or did you use an insert or something?

Lol well at least it worked! I know at some point I'm going to have to fix the Range Rover Sport oil drain plug, but it's working for now.

That was a great video to watch.
I just have a question, what company valve block you replaced, how much it cost?
Thanks!
I'm glad you enjoyed the video!

Hello there I have to do the same work on my car. Should I unplug the battery on plug the relay? Leave both on.
If I remember correctly, Mercedes recommends disconnecting the battery.
yeah free tools
本日、バルブブロックを交換しました。車高が上がらないです。おそらく診断機でリセットが必要です。おすすめのOBD2 診断機がありましたら教えて頂きたいです。お安い診断機を希望します。宜しくお願いします。
