Thank you Mr. Wolverine Historian for putting so many great M videos for us fans to watch. I watch them over and over again reliving the glory years because the program has been such a mess since Carr quit. As Springsteen said - Glory Days. Unemployed for over a year so thank you for the entertainment. You have done an AWESOME job for us starved M fans. GO BLUE!
God, Desmond was amazing!
Sometimes, I forget just how good Des was. He was unreal in this game. Just unreal. Indiana probably beats us by a decent margin without Des on our side that day.
Far I’m concerned Derrick Alexander was the best receiver and wasn’t close.
He was unreal in this game and Gary Moeller knew how to use him. Moeller didn't squander talent on offense although he did have his flaws as a coach. The guy was a superb playcaller.
Does anybody out there have any footage of IU coach Bill Mallory's epic post-game presser where he ripped the officiating in this game so hard that the Big Ten suspended him for their next game against Wisconsin?
Lol, Neil Simpson is my dad.
Ricky powers unsung hero
This was the only game Michigan played that entire season that was decided by single digits.
I know a win's a win and you shouldn't take it for granted, but man, this game just sucked to watch live (other than Desmond's awesomeness). The pass defense was pretty crappy that year and they got nickel-and-dimed all day long. Indiana converted 3rd downs like crazy and held the ball forever. We ran only 50 plays to Indiana's 83!
