Love this idea, super helpful for weird shaped objects
Dentist approved laser jigs. 1 out of 1 dentist approved this jig
🤣🤣 Yes sir!
Awesome tip. Saving this for when my fiber is delivered!
Glad it helped and congrats on your fiber!
Great idea and super inspiration. For a single object, (play) dough could be helpful... never came to my mind. Thank you!
You are so welcome!
Pro-Tip! I was thinking of using Apoxie but I like this better. The lego plate is a great share.
TY
Glad it was helpful!

Great idea!
Thanks! I think so!
Neat 👏
Hi, I just ordered the X-tool 10w diode laser. Pardon my complete lack of knowledge please, I’m just beginning to study videos on the subject, but would all of this hold true with using my type of laser as well?
100% yes these mold/fixtures can be used on any system Co2 or Fiber Laser :) including your xtool

Good idea but it seems modeling clay would work as well and probably much cheaper.
Thanks for commenting ! Actually modeling clay is a poor choice for this, it does not hold its shape, it sticks all over the object, and sags over time, i tried this early in my carrier, and it was a fail. Making ridged mold like this, is the way to go, so you can reuse them over and over again for years, and it holds your items perfectly.

True but not after sets up and that can be easily expedited in a toaster oven. I mix plaster of Paris in to make it set faster and harder. I do this for fixtures when building small welded scrap metal art when I build multiple repeats. It doesn't mind the heat either.
@@gcase08 plaster of paris + modeling clay and now you need a toaster oven? Nah. I'd rather just shove the blue and white together and have it ready in five minutes.
