    Nice kit. I built this kit a few months back, and the same one in a different boxing without the trailer. 😎👍

    Splendid work on that " *1973* " Nova, Louie ! Aren't those front wheel pins a joy ! Gave me a hell of a time when I built the first issue (2021 ?). Now I just glue the pins to the 'spindle', then glue the spindle assembly to the front end. I am working on the same kit right now. I am going to use the fuel injection; I was going to use the carburetor, but I wanted to use the custom rocker arm cover; the carb is attached to the stock 'cover.
    The custom wheels from the *1964* *Olds* are going on my build as well. I like that you used the *Cragar* *GT* wheels from the '68 Coronet -- great choice !

    Nice build. I like how you made red lines on the r\trailer tires. AMT is still using the height setting pieces for the front wheels. They used the same concept back in "58 when they were just starting out. Tried and true so to speak. I also like how you blued the exhaust header on the extra engine. On the next build, make it a straight axle with some big ole" exhaust dumps out the side. All of these builds are good ideas for the novis and the expert modelers out there. Keep up the good work, Louie.

    Great color choice. I've never built the wagon, but did build a 2-door Chevy II about 55 years ago (built mine with a navy blue).
    I would suggest you use plastic and paper bags in your paint booth, to keep so much paint from building up on your rotating platform/stand and the air filter. Those bags just stack up in my house, so it's a nice way to put them to use.

    I guess I'll need two. One to build stock and another to build as a gasser like my Hot Wheel. I'm going to have to get some of those brush markers. I watched a video review on some and they look interesting.

    i have seen a few of these built and yours sir in my opinion takes the cake I just love the color combo together my uncle had a bunch of these real nova's back I guess in the late 80s i was born in 77 I was 9-thru 13 probably when he had them he had a 65 ss 327 4 speed really rough being in ohio he drove it I remember riding in it but he had a wagon bout same blue it was rusty too but front wasn't so he took that whole front subframe and doghouse put on the ss car then let it set a few yrs sold it all off but his wagon i don't remember riding in it but i remember him driving it thinkin how cool it was even at that age the ss was fast 4 speed really loose fun ride as he went thru the gears but man you never seen the wagons so much he had 3 wagons ,a couple 4 doors a couple 2 door sedans and a 1964 2 door hardtop back in the 80s they were just another old car unless you just liked em no real value

    It's a Kevlar mask so when the engine blows up it doesn't burn there face, for funny cars & dragster drivers, it's a aluminum color

    What wheel backs did you use, BTW, for the car's wheels ? Parts box ? The kit's backs are scale 13" and only fit the kit's 13" tyres.

    • @TheAutisticModeler
      @TheAutisticModeler  Год назад +1

      The fronts fit perfectly in the tires I used, the rear I used the kit wheel back as well and just glued the to the back of the wheel
