I love Supertramp. I once was in a metal band with this dude older than me, and when I auditioned, I played original shit. He said "You are a Supertramp fan. I can tell by the melodies in your riffs.". Most of my friends didn't even know. 😂😂😂
One of the greatest guitar outros I have ever heard. Takes me to outer space every time! Chills!

This song brings back memories of a good friend long ago who got married and moved far away. Supertramp was her favorite band. As we drove away from her wedding reception this song was on the radio. Little did I know that I would never see her again. Whenever I hear this song I think of her. My fave by them would have to be "Even In The Quietest Moments"
I love love love this song! And the outro is an eargasm. From one of the best albums ever recorded. Two more great ones from the same album are the song title Breakfast in America and Gone Hollywood
Ahh the real music era. Nothing will replace it. So glad I grew up in this time. So many memories forgotten. Just revived with the many different types of music of the times. Never get bored reliving the tunes.

Another outstanding song penned by keyboard virtuoso Rick Davies. B in A was the biggest selling album of all genres in 1979. Check out also “ Just Another Nervous Wreck “ from the same album. Great musicianship from a band which should be in the R&RHOF.

First, thanks for the reaction - you really felt this one!! Second, for a suggestion as to what's next I would suggest going back to the first of their "Super" albums, Crime of the Century and do each track there. Start with "School", continue with "Bloody Well Right" and through the rest of the LP, song by song! Then on to the next album and do the same with the songs on "Crisis? What Crisis?"
Supertramp are under-rated. I went to a concert in the late 70s. My favorite of all their music is SCHOOL. Mind you, I am partial to the piano and love it in that song. Glad you liked this one too!

Bloody great song and reaction! Have you done Bloody well right and Breakfast in America? Two other great songs among many by Supertramp.
I saw them on their final ever show in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, this was their final encore song.... everyone was in tears. But still cheering. Actually I am wrong, this was the first encore, the last one was take the long way home.
I wore that album out.
