As a vintage electronics enthusiast, I can say Motorola was a pretty good company. Not quite as good as RCA or Zenith but still up there. Oh, and watching the Superbowl on this set would have been gr9000. This stuff lasts and lasts, some of these sets are still going after 65 years while the average flat screen might get you 10 years at best. Not to mention this stuff is a hell of a lot cheaper.

My stéréo is a all tube amp-pre-amp dynaco pas 4- ac 70 from 1960 and i would not change it for anything else. Its still run on the original tubes. With electrovoice loudspeakers it sound amazing. (Sorry for the bad english)
