What's the issue with wearing a beanie? It won't hurt your ability to locate sound sources... It certainly will block some frequencies more than others, making for an unbalanced sound, but it should a be fairly small difference and it would not hurt your ability to locate sound sources...
The room itself plays a bigger role than a hat.
Even with headphones, i doubt you could notice a difference wearing a hat versus not wearing one.

That depends on the hight to the ceeling and what material it's made of. And the angle of the speakers of course.. But in general systems like this are not close to the real deal.
I would rather have a pretty decent real 5.1 setup or even a pretty great 2.0 or 2.1/2.2 setup than this.

I have the elevate. It’s pretty amazing. Slightly bass heavy. By far the best bar on the market.

@@MC-ew7sc IV watched lots of unboxings on this channel and product overviews and they usually go in more depth than showing 20 seconds of the product actually in use... It's only occasionally that they will do a follow up video on LTT usually the latest Mac book or galaxy phone

They still packed 18 speakers into it, unlike most Samsung's and Sony's which usually have 3 to 9 speakers.
Guys. Your “set” doesn’t have a ceiling! The top firing designs for all these systems expects a standard 10-foot ceiling overhead.
Then I realized this was a “watch between the lines” type video. It’s a sponsored ad. It pays money to show product. That’s it. The lack of a better test and review makes me think they either didn’t have time and just collected the cash (and that’s fine, it’s biz) OR it sounded terrible so this was their way to let you know without, hopefully, pissing off sponsor.

First, they put the Center, Left + Right Channels all in the same plastic housing, so that their vibrations can distort each other. Then, they make this thing super long, but instead of using that space to give the Left+Right channels more separation (Which would still not be enough), they add speakers that intentionally fire sound at your ceiling, so that you can listen to it's distorted, improperly placed reflection. This is what happens when a TV manufacturer tries to make audio equipment. This stupid gimmick is not a replacement for height speakers. This thing costs $900 what a joke. For a little over half of that, you could have a 5.1 setup that uses 6 real speakers, that are not made of plastic. For that money, you could also just have a real 7.1 system that wouldn't sound like trash. That's if you insist on buying brand new, at RETAIL PRICE. I love LTT, but I hope none of you buy this.

Came here to say this... Check out these speakers designed to bounce off the ceiling! Let's test them out here in a room with no ceiling and wonder why they aren't all that great...

Lmao you popped up fn horizon, didn't mention that ceiling height matters a lot BC THATS WHAT THE SOUND IS BOUNCING OFF OF. Honestly, I wouldn't mind if my inventory team over lablel the individual things. At least I know that if ONE damn thing gets lost, once we find it, a quick scan will have me back up and running.
Not sure if using soundbar that bounces sound from the ceiling in a studio with high ceiling makes sense.
In the beginning of the video it looks like there is a cloud diffusor right above him, so the audio signal can't really bounce back.

Linus, I have a dad who's not really modern tech savvy (quite savvy during the betamax and turntable days, but failed to keep track with modern electronics) but can assemble this on his own with enough instructions on the box. @@Antimonkat it has 2 rear channels, but the Soundbar in the front is really just one speaker. You will not hear a diffrence between left and right and Center. Thats why i called it 3.1.2

It is pretty ugly. It has that "I am not a slab" bulging look, "cheap plastic black" satin colour and is covered in "punctured holes" style of mesh. It's like it is stuck in past.

I have this etup at home you need to fine tune it a bit using the Vizio smart link app and enables the upward firing speakers on both the sound bar and the satellite speakers they make a world of difference also you can adjust the perfect distance depending on where you sit in the room and location of the speakers, Dolby ATMOS is an amazing thing, these speakers have changed my life and how I consume my audio and video in real life and they are properly loud, that bass speaker is top kek overall very good audio quality with all the Dolby stuff superb machine.
I wish a could have a brand like Vizio in Europe. The quality price ratio seems unmatchable. I feel envious
The issue with viso is its price benefits comes with quality downsides.
@@BirchPig I know the quality is not the best. But in Europe we don't have any brand that offers such and interesting portfolio of products. I can buy the state of the art from Sony, LG , Samsung or Panasonic. But sometimes I just want a good priced oled tv for my bedroom without spending thousands of dollars

Hey Linus, I know this was a sponsored content but I would really love to have heard how the Atmos works and watch a real review than this half-assed joking about the box and a blurry shot of how the speakers turn when you didn't expect that. I mean, I am used to your videos being actually helpful and giving me enough info to base a purchase decision on. Would you be able to decide anything thanks to this video? Please, don't take this the wrong way, I am a huge fan so I think it is my responsibility to point out if something goes wrong.
This looks good but I bought a Vizio sound bar 2 years ago that keeps turning off at random times. It also disables the 'TruVolume' normalising function every time you switch apps, and after trying everything they told me to fix it and then sending it back for a replacement model that does exactly the same, Vizio support told me that I just have to live with it, so I guess I won't be buying from Vizio ever again.

The screen on the remote is a pain in the ass to read. I don't know WHY so many people in the electronics industry don't understand the basic concept of CONTRAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I connected my Apple TV with HDMI to the soundbar and soundbar via HDMI to TV (eARC). This made it recognize the Atmos content. However, this gives me a slight audio delay by a few milliseconds. It does not happen when the Apple TV is plugged directly to the TV and the sound bar is plugged directly to the TV. Any ideas how to sort this out. I would like to enjoy the Atmos feature.

Hi! I bought this soundbar a month after this video came out. Don't buy it! I've had nothing but problems the whole time I had it, including but not limited to my PC causing the soundbar to crash! Like, going exclusive fullscreen on any game causes the soundbar to cut out and requires a hard power cycle to get it to work again. I am never buying a vizio product again, and I should have looked closer that this is a sponsored video and not an impressions/review.
I think its funny that both Microsoft and Sony know that console gamers just don't have the IQ to understand the true cost of owning/using a console. First, $500 up front. Second, $59.99 for 7 years of live service. Then no upgradeability, unless otherwise offered as a more expensive first-party product. Less overall game selection. Console games cost more on average. Non-adjustable graphics settings as hardware ages, so the hardware becomes useless sooner. So now by the time you kit out your console setup, you'll be up and over $1000 by the time the next console releases. So other than the handicaps game developers spoon-feed console players (i.e. aim assist), why not just buy a PC in the first place? Especially since a computer is a Swiss Army Knife relative to the plastic spork Microsoft and Sony are selling you.
Also, whenever I'm not using my PC for gaming, I can use it to mine crypto. Over the last 5 weeks, I've gained back around $300 doing this. So not only is a PC a multi-functional machine, it is also able to pay you back over time. I just don't understand why console gamers cannot grasp the true cost of choosing a locked-down plastic box over a multifunctional/upgradable setup.
Seeing a thing physically move in response to me pressing a button makes me happy. If that thing makes an impressive whirring sound as it moves, I require it.
Actually the PS5 actually supports Dolby Atmos and DTS:X audio output formats. Although, this support is only for Blu-ray and Ultra HD Blu-ray discs...just saying.
Plus it seems the dolby Atmos is not that great for gaming as he found out with the XBOX X.....plus most people will use head phones anyway where Tempest 3D sound really shines
