- In this, What's New #3 in PowerTec 10 DV covers some of the subjects that are upcoming. This includes super head porting DV flow bench program and though far from finally, a breakthrough in cam selection.
As always great content Mr. Vizard. The Knowledge of proper camshaft selection is few and far between, you Shedding light on proper camshaft selection will help the average person and the person with Knowledge they think is right build better engines. Once again sir I appreciate you educating everyone... Adam- cattledog Garage. Wishing you good health sir.
Hello Mr.Vizard David . Glad to see you are still doing well and I'm soaking in the knowledge you share 😎🏁
I appreciate all the effort you put into your videos. I have a Ford 302 Boss Cleveland head engine in the works. I have built several of these in the past but always was literally guessing the cam specs. It's too bad there aren't more intake manifolds offered, maybe I'll try to build a sheet metal intake. I realize that a windsor head would be easier to work with. These are budget motors as I already have most of the parts to build them. My point is what I am learning from you is going to seriously raise the power potential of these engines!
😞 again with the no notification. Thank you Mr. Vizard Wizard🤗.
Thank you for sharing your expertise!
Hello Mr. Vizard, I really appreciate your content and have been subscribed to your channel for a while. I have purchased your books on porting and even made my first port mold...everyone thinks I'm nuts I'm sure lol.
I wanted to bring some things up about cam selection videos for us novices and seasoned hot rodders. There seems to be only 1(Myvintageiron7512) video on youtube that gives anyone a chance of selecting a half way descent cam and also explains the important relationship between the head flow and camlift and touches on intake to exhaust percentages(75% rule). I would like to ask you if you could just watch that and also go further into detail on the subject or is there a better way the average joe can pick a cam that fits his needs.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge and time.
Dang ! I wish I knew who to call Ruth for a camshaft. I've bought two but the last one I ordered was 8 months ago through Marvin. Customer told me to get one elsewhere or loose the rest of the job. Thing is, now I have to re cut the valve seats and the head. Too much advance for a street deal. I wish the program was available to use or rent each time we needed a camshaft. My feelings only.
David: I love your work with respect to engines. I especially like your work and SBC cams and heads....I have and READ your books as well! Keep Going,...See ya!
Mr. Vizard, I got excited when I saw V10. I was thinking David has built a Ford V10 Monster!
You don't see those v10 Fords doing anything impressive very often. It would be neat to see DV make one work!
I have seen the big Chrysler truck v10s be made into some torque monster for very little $$ because you can get em dirt cheap. Got to enjoy those smiles per gallon though because they cost $$$ to keep fed with fuel making all that power!
Always a pleasure, Sir!!!
Ten, twelve, or fourteen days between postings makes me think something has happened to you. This keeps me always worried about you. It drives me crazy.
I saw footage of an old mini race. What a blast you guys were having!
DV camshafts?! PUMPED!!!
Thanks, that will be great to know which cam to use depending the build characterestics of the engine
That's awesome David!! I was just looking for cam charts last week.. I race motorcycles.. I can't believe you don't get more views! I'd also like to learn the iop program. I've watched all your videos and lectures on RUclips..

I revisited ep 36, Dec. 22, 2021, and have eagerly waited for part 2. Not on the video list.🤔🤔 Time has come for my cam upgrade. But to which?
The E at least has 110* LSA and I'm considering 1.7 PRW steel rockers (rocker studded heads). 🙄🙄😳😳
DV, magnum v10s are basically the old small block mopar with two cylinders added. Cousin of the viper v10 they were found in dodge ram 2500 trucks and are more common than viper v10s. And use common parts with the magnum v8s such as bearings, rods, pistons, rocker arms studs and pedestals. And the same lifters. If money weren't an issue, I'd want a Gen 3 hemi (2003+) v10. And make 1200 NA without having to have a pro mod type motor that you could still street.
Thank you.
DV; Thank you very much! v/r wh
Mr David, regarding the 4 valve cylinder head, does it need the port bias same as 2 valve cylinder head?
Mr Vizard please include on how to select a camshaft for A Standard Triumph 2L Straight 6 Engine, Using your Gained Knowledge since the 70’s
Tuning Manual You Wrote. Thanks.
That is an engine I would also like to see as I have the 2.5L. I think the entire triumph community would be excited about David revisiting it if only for one video.
His book is pretty comprehensive. I bought it years ago. Good refrence to have around when looking at cams, heads, intakes and exhaust. The concepts apply to any spark ignition engine.
It will make 600 plus if you can get 320 CFM I bet. Looking forward to it.

👍👍🇺🇸
Will a crate Ls v10 be better than a 6.2 lt1 for the price?

Please leave out the Music and give David a proper Lapel-Microphone to get rid of the Room-Echo.
The Audio stinks. NEVER use a Camera-mounted Microphone for any reason.
I want to hear what David has to say, I don't care about all the foo-foo effects,
they do not add any value when done poorly, and even if done professionally, they are of dubious value.
Jim, I am trying to improve on the sound constantly. I am not happy with it and I guess I am not the only one. Got an up-market lapel wireless mike but it is not working. Will hopefully fix it soon.
