I don't usually comment but wow I've watched countless home tours over the years and Michael Trapps house has to be the most fascinating I've ever seen! im still trying to wrap my head around his collection so wild and fun and interesting!
The décor in this house is otherworldly but also livable. Mr. Trapp is so funny! I love that he does not take himself too seriously and just makes things work " I had to hack of the cabinets to make them fit"😂. The land and garden is exceptional but the real pièce de résistance is that Barn full of goods!!! A feast for the eyes and soul. That shipwreck Pottery was like "Oh my Lord". The work that it must take to source all these incredible objects from all over the world is mind boggling! The way he can tell you the objects origin story, the artisans that created them and what they were used for truly captivated me. I respect his love of nature, animals and the planet. He is truly blessed to be able to do what he loves while saving these beautiful objects and doing his part to help our planet. Thanks Homeworthy! This was super cool.😍😍
Mr. Trapp you are the most unique and may I say eccentric gentleman I’ve ever seen on Homeworthy, or anywhere really and your oddly beautiful home, barn and gardens reflect that. If you’re not an owner of a freight company you should be since I’m sure just the shipping costs of all your worldly items must be astronomical. I loved your tour and thank you so much for sharing it all with us mere mortals!
Such a fabulous home tour. The terrace garden is a treasure. And, to listen to Michael describe how he created this masterpiece was quite delightful. Thank you Mr. Trapp!
The most eccentric man I've ever seen. His place is strangely beautiful and it's like being given a tour in a museum of antiquities in terms of his ancient artifacts. I love the architectural details throughout. The cat skeleton is a bit unnerving even if it is circa 1920. I'm only 15 minutes into this. I may have more to say at a later date:-)
The yawning gentleman is great, so many interesting and beautiful things! The best is that he seems so bored as he casually instructs on the provenance of it all, "these all came from a shipwreck, these are Buddhist monk shawls," for drapes!! 🤑
Your home is a veritable feast for the soul ! A perfect example of buying what speaks to you and what you enjoy living amongst . Just wonderful thank you for the tour
feels like indiana jones-ing : this is from a museum (hence for the public), now it s mine... buying up the world, purging it s resources and history... no wonder a lot comes from "colonial" and spice trade, really feels like that mindset
My favorite part of the home is the stone pergola on the terrace. The pool is heavenly, and i can just imagine a fabulous, but casual dinner party at the table!! Thank you for this overwhelming glimpse into your mind. You've been very generous with your time!
"Little old ladies picking up young man.... I'm not responsible." 😂😂😂 I LOVE that man and his beheld eyes!❤ I truly appreciate his taste in antiquities and the layout of his home.❤
I watched another home tour of Mr Trapps not long ago, I adore this house as much as the last one. Such an eccentric man. Gorgeous homes. ❤ I could listen to the stories about his inventory all day 🤗.
waoow I am in awe of his beautiful universe. His home is in another league. He is just a cool character and his sense of aesthetics and his knowledge on all of the antiques is quite unique.💫
🥰🥰 I absolutely love Mr. Trapp's home. It's so beautiful and inspirational and listening to him talk about each piece, just transports me to another world. I love antiques and always think about the artisans that created the pieces during their lifetime. It must be so amazing to wake up every day surrounded by such work♥. This is among my favorite Homeworthy episode.
Oh Michael again. Love him. Enjoyed the tour round his house in the last video. I and a couple of fellow commenters have agreed we would like to get pally with Michael so that we could spend a few days really enjoying his spaces.😂❤
The last one is austere, but very pretty and seems easier to maintain than the others. Thank you so much for this. I adore the people who "deal" in antiques and collectibles. They're a special breed among us, proving that we already have enough stuff. We don't need to make much more.
Micheal is a potpourri of fabulous travel and experiences that are expressed in his home and decorating. Thank you for sharing your beautiful property.❤😊
The white Frieze is Spectacular! Bettie the cat is beautiful. (I'll assume her namesake is Bettie Page:-) The kitchen is old world and magnificently charming! "They are more attractive dead than alive." Seems to sum up his penchant for the mysterious and slightly macabre, which includes dead plants and animal bones. The gardens are reminiscent of a fine oil painting, stupendously exquisite. I loved the pool and the lesson in fruit gardening, and how to grow the most luscious fruit tree fences. I'm definitely a swing person, but no, I'm not a little old lady picking up younger men. lol I love the snowy white hydrangea. Waterlilies and goldfish and architectural details. Love the golden, tangerine-rose colors in the bedroom with a touch of khaki. I loved seeing all the beautiful artifacts inside and outside the barn, especially the turquoise and verdigris green pottery. I loved the Barn swallow story too. They are such beautiful birds. He reminds me of a mysterious character in my upcoming novel. He would be intriguing to have as a friend and I'm certain his parties are unforgettable:-)
This house is so charming with such great pieces. I thought I saw everything until I saw the barn. His collection is an amazing accumulation of museum pieces owned by a private person and the most mind-boggling that I ever saw in my life. Love the water feature in his home,
I enjoy his quirky personality- just a great individual with interesting stories of his finds. LOVE the barn and pottery.. would love see be there while birds are in training.
I could spend a month touching everything in that house and getting inspired. Maybe less small scale skeletons for my taste. But what is absolutely jaw dropping is the outside! Wow! That landscape is right out of an impressionist painting and his hardscapes are remarkable. I think Espalier is Splayed.
My goodness have we been separated at birth…i so love ALL YOUR PASSIONS…THE SWALLOWS ..EVERYTHING…wish I could visit you and just listen to your stories ❤
Absolutely love Mr Trapp, so interesting. Right up my alley! I want to go visit his shop. Would love to buy some of those pots, but know I probably couldn't afford them.
There are many lovely things in the first house, but it’s just too much, to the point of obnoxious. Love the second and third, third being my favorite. I watched that episode over and again. Design perfection.
That guy is my hero, welcoming a home show through his house, whilst hung over, half asleep and nothing ironed . Perection is imperfect.

this man needs to be on TV, asap. home is devine.
Absolutely stunning. He's a dream guide of knowledge and the history behind his treasures.

Eccentric is a word that doesn’t even seem to describe him however a great museum tour. His breathing drive me nuts!
I agree the cat skeleton was a major turn off. Despite the entire home being amazing, the skeleton left me very uncomfortable.
Love Eclectic maximalism, like my house a curio cabinet...nature always good to have around too

WOW some mind blowing & fascinating pieces that Michael Trapp has curated. Exceptional group of home tours in this video. TFS!!!

Thank you very much. So gracious of you to share your stunning home and your knowledge with us. Love!😀
I think the shipping costs must be enormous, but all these items are wonderful. Thank you, Michael for such a great tour.

There are stories from all over the world in this house, there is no such thing anywhere else, bravo maestro🤩
Absolutely loved Miranda's London home and everything about it. Will certainly go back to this entire video for inspiration ... thank you Homeworthy!

Stunning!
This is the most amazing place I’ve seen ❤
I enjoy his quirky personality- just a great individual with interesting stories of his finds. LOVE the barn and pottery.. would love see be there while birds are in training.
I never get tired watching this video.

My goodness have we been separated at birth…i so love ALL YOUR PASSIONS…THE SWALLOWS ..EVERYTHING…wish I could visit you and just listen to your stories ❤
Enjoyed your presentation, thank you for enlightening my thoughts of exploring ideas in decorating, outside of the box.
Love his home beautifully done 😮❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
The Cat story was awesome.. I love all the stories in his home ❤
Amazing !!
Absolutely love Mr Trapp, so interesting. Right up my alley! I want to go visit his shop. Would love to buy some of those pots, but know I probably couldn't afford them.
É maravilhosa essa casa amo tudo que eu vejo
Wow how cool …wish you were my neighbour ❤
guys voice fluctuates like the bad guy from men in black
I thought that I was the only one who noticed that about his voice. So I lowered the volume. It’s annoying because it sounds spooky.
Watch this on a big screen
Micheal seems like he needs a nap.
If Maggie Smith had been an American man, she would have been Michael Trapp. A very interesting man! I thoroughly enjoyed his tour!
❤❤❤❤❤❤
There are many lovely things in the first house, but it’s just too much, to the point of obnoxious. Love the second and third, third being my favorite. I watched that episode over and again. Design perfection.
Michael, please,please get some rest!😊
Fantastic
Omg who is cleaning/ dusting off all this stuff ? I am getting allergic only by looking at it 😮
Is Michael "Trout" on social media? Could not find him on google
Trapp. He’s on Instagram
an artefact has sense in its context, when rich people just collect all sorts and mix it up it s just rich hoarding, no sense at all
the second home and third home more than made up for the first one
Character................................................
Wow! I'd sure hate to follow Michael on this video!
I won’t be coming to your house. And I’m sure you wouldn’t invite me. Mighty strange! It’s not my @cup of tea”.😵💫
I find the second lady kind of insufferable, but she sets a pretty table.
Just. Awesome🦋🦋🦋🦋. The. Floor. And. Color👍👍👍
