It's good to see that 650/50 still getting dirt turned over. Funny story, that particular Big Bud used to be on a dryland grain farm in NE Colorado several years back - a farm I used to work at, and used to run tillage with that Bud. Most often I ran it with a 64' field chisel behind it, which it pulled like it really wasn't even there. The farm used to run it with a 82' Friggstad behind it as well; it'd cover roughly an acre a minute with that rig. That machine is an absolute beast, always has been. Glad to see the current owner has treated her well.
Okay, I believe it was also the John Deere dealer in Upper Sandusky that sold Big Bud back in the day. There was also a few dealers back then that sold Steiger and Versatile.
Absolutely love watching those big iron tractors but now the smaller ones are just a neat little addition to the video. My dad and I used to plow alongside the neighbors all the time when we all raised corn and would pass them in the field too lol
Every you tuber for 500 miles must have been there. So far I’ve seen 5 of them post shorts about all of those big tractors in last 24 hours. Yours was first & best content
Great video I have always loved Bid Bud tractors. I also like the other tractors . That guy on the JD lawnmower plowing with the big tractors had of courage ! I would like to see the 747 Bud . It would not take long for them to plow your garden.🚜🚜🚜👍
Hello everyone good vidéo mike I am from Alsace and when I was in the US in 2019 I was and frankly I recommend this event it is a great moment I love old tractors and especially old American tractors the small ones but especially the big buds the sounds of these tractors are just magnificent limit if I don't tell myself stop I have to go home to France I won't leave anymore the m rites will always impress especially the 750 and the detroit diesels too
Very impressive! Thank you for bringing this to us. Biggest plows in my area that were common when we plowed were 9 & 10...maybe a 12. Never seen 16-21 bottoms...HUGE!!
Wow a 21 bottom plow.18,16, never thought I would see this in a single video. That was a cool shot of the one bottom plow. 👌 I don't know why seeing plowing for me is enjoyable, maybe it is the way you cover it or is it seeing tractors working at max power. Happy subscriber 😊!
Holly molly, plowing in USA today...i was thinking that plowing is dead in USA, and only in EU we still use plows...great video with this awesome BB tractors
Awesome video thanks for sharing, this makes me want to attend this event. Amazing to see, how far plowing, tractors and equipment have come. This video really puts it in perspective.
Wow! Amazing Machinery, Great Video Mike!! Thank You for the trip down memory lane. I've been away from the farming industry for nearly 20 years. Turning a furrow is something that I miss. I'm kinda partial to the A/C Orange myself, I used to run an A/C 180 with a 4x14 John Deere plow. Your video was also educational. I've seen the single furrow plows used one the IH 140, but never saw them hooked up now I understand. Thanks again. Mike Less - Farmhand Mike Reply

Fantastic footage of some great ploughs & tractors by Mike Less once again. Alvordton puts on a lovely display of the ploughman's art (the ploughshares were mostly set correct and the sod was turned clean over.)
Great video bud, man with chem resistance on the rise plows WILL be getting popular again, would love to see a Gregoire Besson roll over plow on that Earthquake tractor, i know they make a 24 bottom
I've heard, many years ago a guy pulling one of those blue plows did it at the Farm Progress show. Pulled out and went around. He had a Detroit too! Yea, you don't see it very often!
This is the same plow that was at the 1978 Farm Progress Show. I believe it was pulled with a Steiger Tiger and as far as I know only one 21 bottom was ever built.
Hey mike, I live in central North Dakota and we just started wheat harvest, we run two 2022 gleaner s97 combines with a 1050 demco grain cart pulled by a case magnum you should come up and video
Interesting that I can't recall seeing a reversible plough on your content Mike. It does take twice the metal and weighs more but obviously not taken on in your farming systems. Ploughs are going out of fashion but in England it is all reversible, start one side of a field and work across with no ridges or open furrows. Time running on the headlands must add up , how wide before they open another cut?
It would be interesting to see if a modern articulate tractor like a 9rx or Quad Trac would pull that 21 bottom plow. I'd imagine it would but definitely be neat to see.
I'm pretty sure every tractor was driven here. Not sure why some people are thinking these tractors were hauled in from out west? I know there is several Big Buds in Ohio. The Rite tractor also belongs to a farm in Ohio.
Now the only tractor and Plow that is MISSING IS RED BIBS BILL'S 3588 AND THE WHENEVER PLOW !!!! A COUPLE MORE DAYS AND IT WILL BE READY TO TURN SOME DIRT ❤😊😊😊
A lot of times, it’s seniors from what I’ve seen at an event that I went to and other RUclips videos. At Renner’s 100 years of horsepower in 2022, over 200 acres were covered in 80 degrees Fahrenheit plus temperature. You almost need an ATV at that point.
i was the guy with the little john deere 300 garden tractor with the homemade 3 point and 10 inch 1 bottom

Love those Buds
Wow amazing
I am proud of you guys
Yes sir
Those big buds are neat, but nothing like the big bud 747, great video Mike.
Great video,interesting tractors.
Love the 'swarms' of Razors following the tractors.
They are there to pull Big Buds through the wet area's! HeHe!
20 minutes into the video i must declare this video as "The best plowing video to date." Great variety of equipment. Happy subscriber 😊!
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Was there once in a lifetime show I'll never forget it great video mike
We went to plow days 2023 love big buds
Great job 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 my favorite chanel on RUclips All the time
Sure was alot of good plow men out there 💯💯👍🏻
There was a Big Bud dealer around 15 miles northeast of Alvorton in Morenci, Michigan. Keller Supply was also a John Deere dealer.

Nice,Randall brothers is a neat place to see itself
I'd say: "Full pull!" 😉
Thanks a lot for the video! 😊👍🏻
I find it interesting how the depth of the plows vary
Love watching those tractors of yesteryear working. Brings back memories.

Man my favorite video yet imagine the weight- traction and horsepower. It takes to pull them big bottom plows
Yes
Good video.
1000 HP is very impressive but, the 14-20 hp tractors that are SOOO old are the coolest !
imho, this is the best video you have shared with us, to date.
Thank you for all the good work it must take to make and produce these, all.
Holly molly, plowing in USA today...i was thinking that plowing is dead in USA, and only in EU we still use plows...great video with this awesome BB tractors
It basically is dead in the U.S. it’s only common in certain regions for certain crops. These events are just for fun, or in this case a fundraiser
in the usa i have been in one, very nice to drive super tractor.
Awesome video thanks for sharing, this makes me want to attend this event. Amazing to see, how far plowing, tractors and equipment have come. This video really puts it in perspective.
Great video Mike!
I really like the 190 Allis with then 4 bottom plow like mine
nice to see the old tractors work Mr Mike
Nice plow day😉👍 the big buds and the earthquake get the acres done quickly😁💪
Well done Mike. Thank you.
impressive plowing video seeing such large plows in action. Imagine 150 bottoms of soil turned over per round!

Got to love the Big Bud's and Rite tractor. That is a lot of money in Diesel fuel.
Pretty cool stuff here, Mike ! Thanks
I love the monster 4WD's as much as anyone, but I enjoy watching the std tractors plowing even more.
all these tractors are so great!!!....but where I live the biggest one would only maybe at best pull a 8 bottom plow!!!!!....I have heavy black dirt
I bet those Big Buds are so powerful they’re not actually pulling the plows through the dirt, they are rotating the planet.
"Awesome Video" !!!! marv"

@@farmhandmike I agree Mike. That is the only 21 bottom built. I was referring to a Repowered 5020 pulling a 8 bottom Hydro-wide plow.
What does the farmer do after the event with all the skips and other missed areas?
Don't get much better than a Big Bud with triples. You could tell it was full on wet.Was disappointed there wasn't some big green machines there...

I'd love to but I don't think I can make it in time this summer but definitely keep in touch as I do get to North Dakota

It certainly is different in the USA here when we plough (UK) we just get swarmed by seagulls while it looks like you get swarmed by UTVs and carts 😉
Yup, I saw a seagull flying around in tesco's yesterday
👌

Curious is you got any video of them unloading the big tractors. Would love to see how they were transported
He said at least two were local.

As always another great video. Looking to purchase a drown to inspect roofs. Can you recommend one to me?
Ive had pretty good luck with DJI Drones.
@@farmhandmike Mike, thank you, and please keep your great videos coming.
👍
At 10:30 there's a small truck right behind the tractor plowing that looks kinda like a German Unimog.
It’s gotta be one
yes, it is a Unimog I didn't see that, good eye
@@jonpeterson9733 as a german i am trained too see that 😄
😎😎
Is it something I can come see how the machines work?
Can you imagine how many people they’ve had to tell on their atvs to not crowd the plow?..🤣
awesome video Mike! have you ever seen those european turning plow in the US?
Any word if while in the area the big bud will make a stop by rantoul on the way back home.
These Buds belong to farmers in Ohio and Michigan close to where I shot this video
Now the only tractor and Plow that is MISSING IS RED BIBS BILL'S 3588 AND THE WHENEVER PLOW !!!! A COUPLE MORE DAYS AND IT WILL BE READY TO TURN SOME DIRT ❤😊😊😊
topic should be about "ATV's" - what= about 80 4-wheelers running round there...
How long is this field? Northwest Ohio normally doesn't have fields over half mile long.
The back corner of this field was probably around 1/2 mile long.
What engine is in the big bud 450
8V92TA Detroit
I'm curious. Why is somebody in front using something like a two-foot plow when somebody else is behind them with a much larger one.
This was a plow day. Just jump in a furrow and start plowing with the tractor you brought.
What was the toy Big Bud made from, metal, wood???
Its funny how you don't see any red or green tractors pulling those big plows ....
why nobody is plowing anymore?
hey how can i get with you i am looking for a plow day near me i have a kubota tractor i want to stretch her legs a bit with the plow i have
🤔🤔🤔
Показушники исключительные, страна террорист 🇺🇸
am sure my 4020 will pull every plow you just showed as deep as all these plow you showing!!!!!!.....4 inches deep is definally not plowing ground!!!
Why are all the people following on their ATVs?
Because watching ground turn over is mesmerizing. 😊
