I think it's interesting how much his response is generally a reaction to the interviewers. The ones where the interviewer is obviously not well versed in the band and is rapid firing very boring questions, get the same stock answers we've all heard before. When someone is genuinely interested in the band and has done a little research, ask a little more in depth questions like she did here, they tend to be rewarded with a much better interview by him. Not that he's ever pissy, he just turns it up a bit and makes it worth their time.
