I don't doubt that he actually drank the Bud Light Lime, but that bottle came to him from off-screen with the cap already off. It could just as easily be apple juice or something else that looks similar
That "Jesus Christ Bail Bonds" commercial immediately transported me back to 2015 like nothing else could. I haven't thought about that ad in years but I vividly remember that "BAIL OUT! BAIL OUT! BAIL OUT! JESUUUUUS CHRIST BAIL BONDS" being one of those goofy local commercial viral videos my friends would show me on RUclips back then
Stuff like this FIFA bit is why Jon Stewart had John sit in for him as host of The Daily Show when he was away, and it's why HBO gave John his own show after he left TDS. John's got talent, yeah, but he also knows how to get the most bang for his buck, and he knows how to dream up crazy bits that get his audience tuning in every week just to see what he'll do. Also, he's not a little weasel. When he promises he'll do something, he doesn't just do it, he does it loud and large.
One thing you can't deny about John Oliver is that he's a man of his word!!

I played a tuba in a marching band in school, and my social life has never recovered!
The tuba player in my high school band also played it (and several other instruments) in a ska band around the same time. I know, ska isn’t really a thing anymore, but somewhere there is a place for a tuba in a legit non-marching band!
At my kid's school, the band is its own social group, and the marching band is the elite section of it! There are still jocks and cheerleaders, sure, but only the jocks and cheerleaders actually think they are the center of the social universe.
@@victoriaeads6126 We didn’t do much marching when I was there. The school wouldn’t spend the money on uniforms, so we just wore black pants and a sort of windbreaker with the school mascot on it. The band director put his foot down my senior year and told the principal that he would not have us go out on the field at the Thanksgiving football game unless we got uniforms. 😂 Great guy, our band director.
