I used a similar setup in the Army. While it is better chemically purify water, sometimes all you can do is boil the water. This will kill all of the pathogens and parasites, but not take out the metals that might be there. This stove lets you build a stick fire, instead of burning other fuels. It's always worth taking the stove. You can always find twigs.

Helikon Tex has some great stuff. This pouch goes nicely with their bushcraft satchel which I highly recommend.

The foxtrot mk 2 with two e&e pouches works great. I add a larger pouch on the back of my mk2 and now have a lot more storage and it's all very modular as opposed to a typical backpack. Thank you for sharing this.

I have two of these pouches ( polish woodland, Adaptive green) it’s from their Bushcraft line. I have one of them attached to my Savotta Jakkari S and never had any issues with it coming off. Great video Tim thanks buddy. I’m going to drop the hammer on that canteen set . Enjoy your Sunday and god bless your house and everyone in it!

I have several Helikon-Tex products (pouches and clothing), great products!
This is my setup for day hikes, "survival" trips, etc.:
A Foxtrot MKII belt rig with an E&E pouch on one side and their GP large pouch on the other and a Helikon-Tex poncho mounted to the bottom.
This rig is mounted on my HSGI battle belt with Blackhawk LBE shoulder straps.
All in Ranger Green and O.D. Green.

I use this as my digger kit
    1. Hatchet attached in the back
    2. Pocket Saw attached to the molle in the front
    3. Breakdown survival saw, shovel & spear kit inside.

nice pouch but the issue GP/canteen molle pouch is just as awesome. the weave and tuck molle attachment system is actually very strong when done right.

Helikon Tex really impress me with their line of products. They seem to get the quality to price ratio just right.

The pouch looks nice . The pathfinder kit has too thin gauge of metal . Stanley is far stronger . Cool video .

I'm also a fan of helikon, but for the canteen look for the ESSENTIAL KITBAG, it's perfect to add the canteen inside and have the 5C's organized in it. I have also a couple of E&E Pouch's and one is for my food and other for my poncho and gaiters. Also ,the essential kitbag and one E&E Pouch work perfect to the sides of a Foxtrot Mk2 Belt Rig to minimalist one night adventures.

This is nice stuff. I have their Bush-Craft satchel (haversack) and I really like it. I bought the grey one for more urban use but so far I really like it a lot. Holds a ton of gear. I LOVE my hidden woodsman, but this is a close second. Def going to purchase more from HT
