- Sea-Doo Spark won't start, remove top deck, remove battery, remove starter relay, replace battery, replace starter relay, replace top deck
You can replace the battery and access that relay without removing the top. Its a tight fit but it is possible. The only reason id take top off is to change spark plugs.
I have a 2020 seadoo spark and changed the battery in 5 mins. you have to raise up and flip it on its side it's a tight fit but did it. putting the new one in slide it in perpendicular and flip it
Great simple and thorough video. Thanks.
When accessing the steering 10mm nut & bolt all you have to do is take off that little yellow plastic piece in front of the steering bars(1 screw) and turn it up and it is real easy too get at from that access hole under it.......Nice video on how to do everything else.....You should get yourself an adapter for sockets so you can use a cordless drill and it would make taking out all those screws 10 times easier.
Thanks Riley! Good info! 👍
Cool seadoos man
Have a similar problem, but was told to change actual starter. Is there a way to test starter before changing? Or should I start with starter relay and work my way?
I would suggest starter relay first since it's only about USD $5
ooooh its the Seadoo Spark Master 5000!!!!
hey bose what is than container with pink liquide.?? how can you refill it.??
Antifreeze! The Spark is a closed loop system! The engine is cooled like a car, and water cools exhaust!
@@josefmd thank you .!!
any Antifreeze recomendéd.?? or just like the one you use for you car.??
Starter relay link or part number would be great!! Thanks
The exact one I ordered on Amazon was "Omron Electronic Components G8V-RH-1C7T-R-DC12"
Does the starter relay gradually or suddenly quits working?
Mine suddenly went out. It was about 3 years old at that time.
I've replaced battery, starter relay, and all fuses, but still no response at all on the display, no beeps, and no response when pressing the button to start. I do get a single click sound every time I press the start button. Thoughts? Solenoid?
Your guess is as good as mine. The harnesses are connected good? If it were me, I would look at the starter motor
Hey same with mine, did u happen to get this checked out and fixed? Do you know what it was? I’m guessing the starter Solenoid as well
Can you test it before putting the top deck back on? I don't want to take it all back off if that wasn't the issue :\
Yes-ish; you can lay the top back on and connect the harness (without screwing the top on) and test start it
No one else thinks this is ridiculous for replacing a battery!?!? A common process? F#%} Crazy 😳
You don’t need to take the top half off I did mine thought that little engine bay hole
@@caidanbrien1114 yup! it's a tight fit but is possible. side note: if you are going through all the trouble to take the top off, change the oil, filter, and plugs while you are at it!
