Am I hearing this right? Do you pronounce 'library' as 'Lie Berry'? Is this a fruit that counteracts the effects of the Truth Serum? Just joking, man. Made my day. Awesome videos!
I know that you have no Ideia but, I got a job and full of acknowledgement because of your premiere tutorials. I am just a journalist, and now learning cinema stuff. Thank you a lot. You helped someone in this world.
Well done. To the point with some great beginner tips and fun examples, my kind of tutorial video. A lot of times I watch tutorials and have to fast forward past so much nonsense, I didn't touch the controls once.
that was awesome. I new to youtube. I just bought a screen. This was easy to understand and very simple. Im sure it gets fancier more you use it but for starting off this is great!! im subscribed.
i think with the first example in the lab if you made the brights a little brighter and the skin tone a little more yellow on the subjects it would make it more realistic. matching the lighting is always important when green screening, wether that be in pre or post production. but great video all around! 👌
Armando, looks pretty good. Just a tip from another media guy, pay attention to color grading your clips to match the same color space. In the first lab shot, the people had a warm light on their right side and the lighting of the bg was cool. In the star wars clip, the interior of the car was very cool while the death star was really warm. If you matched the light color by color grading either to warm or cool, the effect would be even better. I also liked how you apparently went to hyperspace in reverse, lol. Best wishes.
I used to use green screen lots of times. But these days... nope. After I'm making vlogs, sadly I don't have reason to used that. But your video was so motivative and I loved your green screen videos too! Thanks for nice video!
WOW!!!!! Amazing tutorial!! I liked very much the way that you taught us those techniques with real examples that you made! The whole video was very dynamic to watch as well! Thanks a lot and now I will use what I learned from the video in my videos!
What program is best for fx special effects and green screen out of these Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Sony Vegas, Powerdirector, Hitfilm, or even iMovie.
Hey Armando, thanks for the video. I really like the clean look of your video and was wondering what camera and coloring you used (during the parts where you are sitting in the chair). Thanks!
Armando, great video. Do you know of a way to use green screen only in parts of the video and not others, meaning if I had something that my subject was holding, and parts of are green, but I dont want them to be transparent in my final render, how do I exclude them from my effect?
Thanks so much for this video! im learning green screen in school and we have to create a project, i was stuck on what to do. I hope you dont mind but im going to try to duplicate your air pod video
Your stuff is just awesome. I've not tried green screen as I'm really really new and only started editing as my son wanted to have a channel. Can I do some of this stuff using filmora
Hi, To make a long story short I am wanting to edit a baby held by someone else to be held by me instead. The original video was taken in my house. Since the background would be the same do I have to have a green screen? Or could I record myself in the same spot the edit the baby into my arms? Also, can you somehow overlay my hand to rub the babies head or cheek? I’m a self taught photo editor and have never edited video or used Premiere or After Effects. I don’t know anyone that can edit video either... but I’m desperately hoping this us possible to help me with some postpartum blues that are partly triggered by not having and pictures or videos of my newborn and I .. which I wasn’t aware that no one took until months later when I was thinking more clearly. And unfortunately a time machine doesn’t exist lol hindsight is always 20/20. Thank you for your time and help! Any tips or answers will be greatly appreciated.
I'm struggling with my green screen casting a green shadow on my skin. I'm shooting using a Canon 5D mkII... 320ISO, Shutter at 50, F-4.0 on a prime 50mm lens. I'm really having a tough time because I'm bald... and not sure how to prevent that glow from occurring. I have the green screen independently lit using 8 daylight bulbs in 2-softboxes, and them I'm lit with a hot-shoe mounted LED light. I'm sitting about 2-3 feet away from the green screen... any ideas on how to fix this? What would you recommend?
I used videopad for two years and it wasn't that bad, but for green screen eh... I'd suggest you to crack adobe premiere as I did it's pretty easy there are literally tons of tutorials about it
If you have a consumer camera, specifically one that records in 4:2:0 YUV color sub-sampling (currently, anything OTHER than a Panasonic GH5), then the Premiere Ultra Keyer is the best - it was designed specifically for this kind of material. If you have a professional camera that shoots in 4:2:2 or better, then the Keylight Keyer in After Effects is better. A couple of CC versions ago, Adobe added some effects and created an Animation Preset using Keylight that would handle 4:2:0 material. It does, but not as well as Premiere's Ultra Keyer. If you go this route, try this: apply the Keylight preset to your material and precompose; use that precomposed layer as a trackmatte for a copy of the original material (with no keyer applied). You may also have to key twice, once for the edges and once for the inside of the greenscreen material. Adding a denoiser to the top of the effects stack is also a good idea, since Keylight hates noise. Also, use Intermediate Result, not Final Result.

You can still use green screens even if you vlog, i've seen some creative ways on people doing it for transitions.

Where did you learn to use the software?
It's great, very well explained. Greetings from Mexico.
"Adios" goodbye.
🙏🏼
So sick👍🏾
Great video. What do you prefer to use for keying - AE or Premiere?
+Channel 8 Morinville Evening News Since I know my way around Premiere more I'd say premiere. But I'm sure AE is better.
Armando Ferreira Thanks so much for the response. Appreciated.
wow...thanks for sharing
very cool. Can you do a video on how to properly light a green screen?
Good idea!
Nice video -- good information. "Adobe" is a company, not a specific piece of software or a plug-in.

good job bro!

Armando love from india.
In which software vfx and cgi breakdown is done.
did you go to college for film making or anything related?
THANK YOU!
I have always used after effects for green screen. Do you think premiere is just as good?
If you have a consumer camera, specifically one that records in 4:2:0 YUV color sub-sampling (currently, anything OTHER than a Panasonic GH5), then the Premiere Ultra Keyer is the best - it was designed specifically for this kind of material. Hey, what’s a good green screen to get?
Its amazing 😍👌🏻🖥
Gracias! Lo logré.
