      @@wolfamri it is easier to understand if the tutorial is breakdown to steps then explain the reason for each step. The reasons and concepts are very important in learning because if there arent then will just be memorizing and then forgetting it after. With reason and concept explained then we can just look at the video and realize the solution.

      @@wolfamri This is quality content, but yes it is quite niche. I'm using my small spare bedroom and Amazon fabric, but experimenting with backlighting the fabric with good results, a Godox TL60 tube light on the floor behind the fabric. The TL60 is RGB so I can use white fabric to still get a good green screen effect.
      I don't have a ton of money to throw at lighting, but I do have a couple of SL60W with barn doors, and an Amaran 200D with softbox for the "hero" lol. Foamboard reflectors help a lot. But the biggest thing that affects green screen quality? As you said, it's the size of your room.
      Anyway, much love from Western Australia :)

    • @wolfamri
      @wolfamri  Год назад +1

      Thank you. I experimented a lot for this video. In the end when I found that green screen editing trick with masking the ultra key filter, I also saw that the evenness of the background is less important than I thought. The only thing that is still left is the green spill on the person and that's an issue with smaller rooms. It's so fun experimenting with lights and comparing the results. Enjoy! Love back from the country with two letters less 😉🤣

      @@wolfamri I rent this house so I have no option to paint the wall :( But I love the mounted rails you have on your ceiling, that is so flexible.
      We use Davinci Resolve, is there an equivalent "Ultra Key" feature?
      Much love to our non-kangaroo alphabet neighbour :) Western Australia is beautiful in golden hour, especially if you like timelapse, come and visit, I will buy you a beer :)

    • @wolfamri
      @wolfamri  Год назад +1

      🤗 That would be awesome, but I‘m afraid despite having many things on my bucket list, I recently really try to fly less. And I couldn’t go any further than to Australia 🤣.
      The rails are awesome, but perhaps not as flexible as you might think, unless you have a lot of them. I haven’t used da Vinci Resolve in a long while. But I think you can work with masks, just like in premiere pro. They all basically work the same way.

    thank you for the videos, it really is a good technique but I am having problems: so I first key-out the head and it goes well but if I try to use the ultra key again it still edits the head part, so what I am doing is making another mask to only affect the body and not the head nor the background. At this point I have the head and the body key'd-out and it looks good but I can't get the other background parts without messing what I already key'd-out and making a mask to only cover the background without touching the other 2 ultra keys is hard with movement. I've watched the video and when you add the second ultra key it doesn't mess your head-key, why isn't it working like that for me? am I doing something wrong? I don't know if it matters but I also have them in the same order as the video: the head on top, body 2nd and background last

    • @wolfamri
      @wolfamri  3 месяца назад +1

      @@wolfamri hi! yes only masking the key effect like the video, what I ended up doing is making the mask for the hair and another ultra key for everything else minus what I could cut with the clip-mask. I have to say sir thank you so much for this video, I tried every other tutorial that I could find but this one with the multi-keying was the only one that helped me save a bad green screen footage, doing 2 or more key mask to edit the clip is such a genius, simple and efficient solution, I will use this technique again in the future for sure

    • @wolfamri

    • @wolfamri
