It was kind of his fault for that because he stopped Cyclops from blasting Avalanche. If had allowed Cyclops to do that none of that would've happened.
What I don’t understand for anyone that knows is that Cyke’s Optic Blast is one of the only known blasts that can actually hurt the Blob. But for some reason it has no affect on him in animated series. I guess it’s because every time they introduce a villain or someone like that they always had to make them seem like they’re unstoppable in the beginning to make it seem like the heroes can’t do anything to beat them, and it’s the same way with the episode with Gladiator and Juggernaut. And just because of that episode people got it in their minds that Gladiator would destroy Juggs when all actuality if I’m not mistaken Juggernaut has beaten Gladiator once or twice before in a fight. But like I said they made Juggernaut seem almost unstoppable in TAS so when they brought in Gladiator they had to make him seem like there was no way to beat him. So, they brought in a character who also seemed unstoppable just to make Gladiator to make it seem like he was unbeatable and what better why than to make him beat the guy who already seemed almost unbeatable before him in Juggernaut. But in all actuality if Juggs and Gladiator fought it would be WAY CLOSER than it was in the cartoon lol. But they had to make Gladiator seem like there was no way to beat him so kids watching at the time would feel like “You see what he did to Juggernaut?! I don’t think there’s a way for the X-men to beat him!”. Only for the X-men to be giving him that work later on in the series. Hell, Rogue was giving that man Gladiator that work in the episode where they went to space to save Jean. Gladiator should’ve been beating the frame off of Rogue lol. And remember she had Cpt Marvel’s power when she was no where near how strong she is now in the comics! At this point when Rogue had her powers she was at Class 50 which mean she was only lifting 50 tons at this time while Gladiator and Juggernaut was supposed to be at class 100+ meaning they could lift 100 tons and above that! But I’m getting way off topic lol. I was just saying that canonically Cyclops’ Optic Blast definitely should hurt Blob! It’s one of the only plasma type force that was able to hurt him in the comics. It’s the same way with Mr Sinister. Cyclops’ Blast was one of the only blast type forces able to hurt him as well. But I’ll give them that, they did show Cyke’s blast hurting Sinister like it was supposed to.
I don't think Scott's concussive blasts could move the blob unless he had ranged his visor to dangerous levels. I doubt he wanted to risk that. (I may be wrong)
I always wonder why superstrong people just flail around wildly when someone covers their eyes, instead of just reaching up and removing them. It's not like they can do much to dodge, just grab the hand that's over your eyes and pull.
That’s the second fight I watched where Rogue lost because she tried to use her strength when she would have had an easy win if she used her strength-draining powers. At least this time the bad guy didn’t reveal his powers to Rogue before she attacked.
Where do mutants shop for their cool outfits?? Or do they have a friend in fashion who designs them for the mutants? I LOVE this show but some deets need to be explained!

You're not gonna get hate for having an insipid, shit opinion. This is animation. You expect live action during a time when superhero mediums weren't popular with moviegoers? Dumb as hell. They also hand drawn all the animation and action sequences by hand and rendered it through a computer. You obviously do not appreciate art made authentically from scratch.
