As bad as people say Monster Jam Maximum Destruction is, I grew up on it and one of the best parts were the secrets that if offered, it wasn't the best graphics or handling but it's just that added factor of little secrets and such that you can get that made it so magical
I hard disagree. Monster 4x4 is easily the best monster jam game. Also the turning isn't bad, what? The trucks handle fine. Almost none of the other games are good. I really wish they'd just go all in and make a realistic game with a real career mode already.

I agree with you. The handling is challenging, but it always made me feel like I was controlling an actual monster truck. It feels heavy, and once you get the hang of it, it’s very satisfying. The game suffers from repetitiveness when you try to collect all the trophies, but otherwise, imo it is the most complete monster jam game of them all.
I gotta disagree, path of destruction was the best on the list, amazing gameplay and a lot to do! Graphics were good for the time! Controls handled well too. But other then that, all MJ games were good!
Path of Destruction was always my favourite. I still have the custom Wii Wheel that came with it and so far as I care, none of the Monster Jam games made after it exist.
urban assault is my favourite, it was really fun and i love the game mode everything is insane,the freestyle, stadium race, circuit race those are insane!

I played Maximum Destruction as a kid - it was an absolute blast and in my kid lenses the inclusion of Jurassic Park in the hollywood map was as realistic as the film itself… but I understand your ranking.
Something I haven’t seen mentioned in the comments is Monster Jam As Big As It Gets, it was a mobile game that came out on everything mobile, but because it was so bad and did so poorly, it was taken off of EVERY store it was on, excluding(for some reason) the Amazon App Store for Kindle fires. This is the only reason I even know about it, I played it on my kindle fire. It IS probably the most unpopular Monster Jam game.
Steel Titans 2 is a pretty good game loved all the trucks & Haunted Forest world. But I couldn’t tell you how many races I lost cause of tipping over. It’s like if you make one mistake you lose the race.
One game you are missing is monster truck Madness 64 it's not exactly Monster Jam but it's the roots of Monster Jam it was the beginning before they started calling at Monster Jam and it has a lot of good trucks including Grave Digger
Yes and monster truck madness 2 you can download different truck layouts so if it is not in it you could technically add it. I think it needs revisited though.
I liked urban assault and monster jam the video game (2007) the best just because you race in allsorts of environments while crushing everything and doing property damage.
I remember playing urban Assault back on the ps2 i was 5 or 6 and now I'm 21 that and TMNT the one that was from the movie, parallel 2, spiderman friend vs foe, and Marvel Ultimate alliance. Man i feel old now.

If you like Path of Destruction for its realism, then you’re gonna *love* Beam-Monsters for BeamNG Drive. Not only does it have the most realistic physics to date, it also has many trucks from all of the eras, (Including non-existent yet official and non-official ones) a huge amount of customization, and is being updated surprisingly often. There’s also the added benefit of using it for the rest of BeamNG Drive and its mods of course. I still prefer the 2007 and Urban Assault games overall to Path of Destruction, but that’s because they are more different with their arcade style approach, and the fact that I have some bias since those two and the DS version of 2007 are the only Monster Jam games I grew up with.
I know this is ages late but I don’t consider beamng as a official game, yes it’s good and definitely better but it’s not a monster jam game, it’s more of a driving simulator

If we want a simulated monster jam game or still somewhat arcade based. I think Codemasters could do it if they get the license to do it. Look at dirt 4 and dirt rally 2.0, they know exactly how to make vehicles handle semi realisticly

Since you've review crush it and steel titans 1 both games were updated, crush it had the dumbass freestyle fixed to actual freestyle and it had a dlc pack with a chrome grave digger and a destruction mode but the game was still trash, steel titans 1 added challenges to free roam and added career mode+ with 3 overcast trucks, the game also had a few dlc packs
I've heard that a new Monster Jam game is coming out that plays a bit like Motorstorm. It'll be interesting to see how you would rank that on this list! Also, I wasn't aware that I was playing the worst version of Monster Jam (2007), but since it's not likely to work on modern Windows, I guess I can just settle with emulating the PS2 version, since I already own that as well.
For a near perfect Monster Jam simulation style game, try out Beamng.Drive, theres a lot of stadium mods and naturally, a monster truck mod thats just 👌

Monster Jam Maximum Destruction deserves so much better like yeah its the first game and the oldest but I personally think it has its own charm in its own way and being a game from 2002 I believe its held up well, its more Arcade-y than the other Monster Jam games but it will forever be better than both Steel Titans games imo. I feel like this is a massive sport frachise they shouls t make a game liek forza horizon with sruns everywhere free roam and ofc races, and since they have and have sooooo many cars and drivers there shoud be atless 200+ cars on that game
Actually, none of them are very good games. To be honest the only 2 monster truck games that are really any good and do monster trucks any justice are Monster Truck Madness and Monster Truck Destruction. Now there are modders who have taken to Rigs of Rod and Beam NG and did some awesome stuff on there.
As someone who grew up on Urban Assault and Path of Destruction on the Wii, I can appreciate someone showing how good these games are

It was and it had a small freestyle mode. I feel the physics were pretty good for the time and the trucks had weight to them.

Man... Monster Jam Maximum Destruction deserves so much better like yeah its the first game and the oldest but I personally think it has its own charm in its own way and being a game from 2002 I believe its held up well, its more Arcade-y than the other Monster Jam games but it will forever be better than both Steel Titans games imo. Path of Destruction is my #1

I personally enjoyed every game here and still play them to this day. Except crush it. The physics just sucked point blank
I also don't like how the bodies can't get damaged. Crush It had decent visuals but like you said the physics were just ridiculous.
And it's kind of ironic because it's almost impossible to do a backflip on a designated backflip ramp lol.

id have to say steel titans would be a+ and just the best game if the ramps weren't bigger than trucks and you cant do back flips or front flips off of a racing ramp

They need to combine the graphics of the trucks from path of destruction with the track selection of steel titans steel titans 2 is cool cause like experiencing what the drivers of monster jam have to when their racing it examples monster jam Chicago style racing it just needs more graphic design to the trucks

i think the older monsters jam games are far better then the new ones and the physices in the older games are better then the new ones and if i had to rank the best 3 games i wood for number three be monster jam the video game 2 wood be urban assault and the 1st one is monster jam path of Destruction i feel like path of the desrtuction was the best game ever made and no new game can top it ever
I feel like this is a massive sport frachise they shouls t make a game liek forza horizon with sruns everywhere free roam and ofc races, and since they have and have sooooo many cars and drivers there shoud be atless 200+ cars on that game

Actually, none of them are very good games. To be honest the only 2 monster truck games that are really any good and do monster trucks any justice are Monster Truck Madness and Monster Truck Destruction. Now there are modders who have taken to Rigs of Rod and Beam NG and did some awesome stuff on there.
