Did you use a green scrubby sponge - the kind with an “abrasive” side, or just a regular sponge? I believe there is plywood under the fiberglass floor. (Big design error in my opinion.) POs may have cut the fiberglass to remove and replace this plywood. Especially if the belly band was leaking as that can let moisture into the subfloor.
I used a sponge with an abrasive side - and yes, it’s a shame about the wood. That’ll be a future project. Next on the schedule is patching the belly band holes and other exterior fiberglass work
