21:10 “not traditional fromsoft game” they made armoured core before souls meaning technically this is traditional lol. The game looks awesome and if you haven’t seen the old games they’re awesome too should check them out (except AC5)
As far as i've heard the 11 missions shown here were supposed to only be the first chapter with 5 chapters in total for the game, with first few missions being relatively simple as an introduction to armored core for new players that only just got into the game. And likely the further missions will be more punishing. Grinding for ranks is not necessary but it was pretty much one of few things you could do on a gameplay preview session. Though there was also arena mode available i think, which throws you into a 1v1 battle against an AI opponent, and there will be 1v1 and 3v3 multiplayer battles too. The Mecha genre in itself is really a niche that always either was pure fire but only kept a cult-like fanbase or just absolutely flopped to never be remembered again (Looking at HAWKEN reborn that had more microtransactions problems than Halo Infinite did). Personally i am a big fan of robots in general, and the fact that you can make custom decals like custom old battlefield icons and apply them on your AC, like making a livery for a car in forza horizon or something is pretty rad to me. Can't wait to stick "NO STEP" and "INTAKE" signs all around the mech
The game is going to be a blast to play but hard to watch on twitch due to bitrate issues and general unpopulariry of mech games in the west Sad but thats just reality in the age of twitch strimer advertising
One of the thing I find from the western mech community is they tend to prefer the heavy and grounded feels of mech, like Gundam MS team 08, and it reflect in their mecha game design like FPS with cockpit POV, on the ground and move slower with a more "realistic" approach. But with all the JP Mecha games I play growing up, always third person action game, have the full view of the mech you are piloting while zipping around in the air doing all the crazy things.
It's might be because of most western mech fans sees mech as a weapon more than a character like JP and Asian. Hidetaka Miyazaki said this in the interview about armored core a long time ago.
I never registered Titan Fall as a Mecha game before people mentioned it in my face. I was like "yeah, you do spend a good chunk of game time piloting mechs there". I guess the FPS aspects and the pilot pov do dilute my thoughts a lot.
Good thing you said "This is not a holy fcuking game .. TO ME" .. that to me kinda saved you.. and before you speak out bout a franchise , might as well research on it. This is Traditional , not the Souls. And this is coming from someone who learnt about FromSoft through their Souls titles.
I don't think anyone search about this game. It's not about replaying that was chapter 1 only for the people to try out the demo. When they finished whole missions they try getting S because what else you gotta do? There are 5 chapters. And ng+ gives you different missions. Game has secrets to explore in missions. You only care about replaying if you having fun and want to S everything to get the (potentially? secret part). Also we don't know story yet.
It's not a super cinematic story type game. It's very in world dialogue heavy, as in story is often told as you fight with exchanges with the enemy and your handler.
@@namphan8593I mean it’s gonna be a Fromsoft story. You’re gonna get the baseline story and find the little details in environments and picking up other AC mercenary cards etc. so it’ll “hit” depending on how much you want it to I guess
The people who are saying Ps3 graphics we're probably 6 years old when the Ps3 came out and have no idea what they are talking about lol.
Ppl said the same thing about Elden Ring and that went on to sell over 20 million copies it's first year and win GotY. They don't know anything.
@@unsungzero6122 So true dude. Elden ring has some truly beautiful locations.

Chat is unbelievably annoying sometimes.
Truly one of the most zoomer and mentally ill crowds on the platform for sure
sometimes? They are never not insufferable...
I think it's most likely to seek attention. Because Lirik always read the trashy comments
Sometimes 😂
Always had been

Armored core has been 10 years longer than Titanfall even exists for PlayStation 4 and Xbox one trust me look the history of it.
10 years ? try 16 first AC released in 1997

Mecha is massive in Asian markets and AC6 receives very positively there so far. Taiwan even has vending machines that sell Gunpla paint and tools😂
The game will have like 55 mission
the first 11 is just chapter one as some other comment have said

Titan Fall are FPS games with Mechs. They aren't mech games.
mech like? FPMS?

Everything I remember best from Titanfall was in or involving mechs. It's a mech game d:
This game is amazing!!

His chat is really rtrded
It’s been in development before elden ring
Nah about same time
What's wrong with this chat jeez
Gameplay looks fun af. But I think for this game to be good, the story needs to hit. But I don’t think thats the case with the replay system/focus

I don’t think it need a good story, just a decent one, as long as the gameplay is fun, the game is gonna be good, much like doom eternal

the fact that you get secret scenes when you play ng+ is amazing. kinda like "what if" scenarios. :O
