In every video they're in, people say that, but I don't think they understand what's going on. I mean why specifically these ladies - the tiny noses, small lips, flowing hair. It's because apart from their skin tone, they look white. They could easily be Indian.
The use of silence, building tension. The persistent ticking in the background that only seems to get louder during the silence. Giving the viewer room to think and feel with their gut. This was genius.

Believe it or not, they actually got the idea of the sketch from Elton John’s autobiography. In which he came out as gay while playing charades at a family game night. The word was “homosexual” and Elton John kept pointing at himself until someone got it. He said and I quote “it was silent for a moment but then everybody clapped...”
