ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

Got this figure for $20 at my local flea market. Sweet figure and definitely worth picking up if you can get it for a steal!
Probably coincidence but I like the continuing theme of the more military styled Iron Man armours having a rectangular arc reactor. Also this design has a bit of a Robotech feel to it.
Thanks for the video! I just bought this for my grandson and couldn't get the jetpack to stay on. I watched this to make sure I wasn't missing a piece. I then figured out the tanks on the jetpack were put on upside-down in the package. All good now!

This is very cool figure, I think maybe we'll get a second version with less articulation and Steve Rogers inside but we'll see. It's not my favourite figure from the wave but I'll still give it a sudrating of, I love it!

They charge over $50 for this and Iron Monger but still can't even size them properly? I kind of feel like they could have been BAFs or $40. Meanwhile we get a massive, ultra detailed Violator for $3 less from Mcfarlane
Just keep in mind, Todd doesn’t have Disney taking a cut, so that’s going to make a difference in pricing for sure. Also, Todd’s company isn’t public, which allows him to be waaaaaay more flexible. I love that about McFarlaneToys!
They charge 75€ (88$) for it in Europe, so that 50$ does not sound bad at all 😅

@@Wall9. Germany. But I also checked more online stores, like in the Netherlands, Belgium, and so on....and they all have similar prices. It is hard to be a collector here, unless you buy McFarlane 😆 Those figures are very affordable, that is why they are selling like crazy.
@@ShartimusPrime cmon shart, take off your hasbro tinted spectacles. Dc take a cut from the mcfarlane dc figures and they are bigger, some alot bigger, for the same price as ML figs. Way more detailed also. Even a die hard ML fan like you has to admit, that hasbro are starting to get abit greedy. A multi billion pound company that put up prices during a pandemic, when people are struggling financially, not great business

I love this figure, OD Green Machine, I used a flight stand to hold mine horizontally with Peggy riding on the back. It's a little smaller than it should be, but it works. I like the clunkyness of the figure, it has WWII written all over it with all the rivets, and the body being a Jeep and Tank mash up
What flight stands do you use that can support the weight of this?
I'm just going to say this right now the Hydra stopper looks like something that Hydra themselves would develop in order to take down Captain America and his allies

Love the militaristic aesthetic; reminds me alot of Bulkhead from Transformers: Prime and Animated, seems to me like they’ve combined Iron Man, Iron Patriot, and Warmachine…
Still cool nonetheless.
I see more of the Mark 1, Iron Monger and WW II tank aesthetics in the Hydra Stomper.
I usually use superglue to stop it from wiggling so much mostly around the waist area

I was interested, then seen that wobble. Its crap like that that I cant help but fixate on and typically end up ruining a figure for me. On discount though, prooobably? Because I really like the repurposed tank aesthetic going on. This is definitely one of those figures that'd be great to see a Warhammer painter/customizer get hold of.
I just got mine in, I see what u mean about the wobblyness. At the same time it's a impressive big piece of plastic with nice articulation and good sculpt. It's definitely going to fall a bunch of times 😂 but I'm digging it.

While I did preorder I'm a little disappointed that it didn't include a Skinny Steve figure. I know the Hot Toys Hydra Stomper comes with one but I can't drop $640 on a single figure.
Hot Toys are extremely nice but if I were to start collecting them I'd have to pick and choose which ones I got because they are so steep in price.
Hell, they could’ve included a damned Steve head and I would’ve been happy. For the same price they’re selling the Iron Monger with an Obadiah Stane figure.

Is it the type of looseness that can be fixed by using floor polish in the joints? I's such a great looking figure, a little paint would make it amazing addition to a shelf.
I got this figure and the joints aren’t that loose they are good for posing and stuff .
It's mostly the torso, which makes it hard to stand, from what I've seen with my copy, not fixable. But not the end of the world. Once it's posed right and on the shelf, it should stay.
No, the reason why it's wobbly is because the hip joints are a rubbery plastic.

Can you or anyone confirm if the legs click when kicking forward? I got mine and they click when you move them forward and couldn't tell in the review, just to make sure of it's supposed to or not
I’m going to say it’s supposed to. I’ve gotten a few large figures in the past that do that. Rule of thumb- if it clicks, the legs have more stability. Loose/smooth leg joints can suck.

It's the 10th anniversary of the first Avengers movie next year, so I wouldn't be surprised if we get some updated figures then! I have my fingers crossed for a new Avengers Loki!

I hate the rubbery hip joints - they make the figure wobbly and not hold poses.
Just Paint Over The White Spot On The Head.
