I miss tampa bay so much. I had to move back home to Virginia for a bit but end of the year im headed back to FL and can’t wait. Sidenote it’s May and 53 degrees right now here in Virginia 😅😝. I personally find quality of life to be better in tampa and it’s honestly not that much more expensive than Virginia is getting. Of course there are things i dislike about tampa vs Virginia like the busy nature,no parking etc but the positives outweighs the negatives at this point in my life
We ( my husband and our kids) are looking to relocate to Tampa in the near future. We are Canadians and are moving from the Greater Toronto Area. Your video is insightful. I wanted to ask or maybe give some fodder for your next video. Can you maybe give a break up of the costs one can incur in Tampa? ( Including rental/lease, utilities, gas, schooling/daycare etc per year)? This would help us in making an informed decision. Thankyou again!
Everything's pretty good in Tampa, even the weather is okay. The only issue is the high real estate prices and lack of well-paid jobs. It's a touristy area with many hotels and hospitals, but there aren't many offices of big companies. The housing prices in Tampa and St. Pete are almost as high as those in Austin, TX..
I love Tampa I’ve been living here my whole life and i love south Tampa the best because there is so much like the bay and gasparilla it’s definitely got overpopulated over the years though
You're right and I feel you, NYC especially is oppressive and depressing to live in, no joke. I'm planning on getting my family out of NYC and out to Florida as well to a more 'free State'. There is little to no rationale nor freedom here and most people are bat sh*t crazy here. No exaggeration. If I'm going to spend money where I live, might as well be a place that people 'run to' (snow birds) as one of the best tourist attraction states.
I used to live behind the McDonalds on Busch Blvd across from Busch Gardens. Back when the year had a 199# in front of it. Busch Gardens used to send coupons in the mail to people who lived within a certian distance of the park for a free day admission to the park as a way of appologizing for us having to listen to the ride screamers during our daily TV shows. Not sure if they still do that...but it was a nice perk from renting there.
Hello ,We live in Europe but we want to come to USA, now what should we do to get our house first and how can we get USA green card please please please please..!!
I work for trugreen lawn care here in NY. I m a sales rep. Just got a nice salary bump. Im considering a job transfer down there. My brother lives a mile from Raymond James stadium
I live between Dale Mabry hwy and West shore Blvd. South Tampa. In 1994 a bought a 1954 home for $58500. Now the land alone is $500k. My taxes are $750. a year. 2,000 insurance with State Farm. I am complaining. I can't afford going out anymore 😪
Safe is relative to the individual. Just like any city there are areas of concern and you just stay away. But most of our popular neighborhoods are pretty safe overall and my wife and i love date night in downtown. If that tells you anything
@@TampaFloridaLiving yes it does. Thank you. I think I would like Tampa bay. Seems More laid back than NY. I suffer from anxiety disorder. NY is a very stressful place to live
Tampa's downtown is the cleanest, friendliest, safest big city I've been to, besides Toronto. You wouldn't catch me visiting other big cities like Philly, or New York!!
What about the rent prices? I won a green card in DV lottery and want to move to Tampa, can I rent fine apartment for $1500/mo? Can I rent without credit score as I'm new expat?
Thanks for your continuous grind of providing valuable information on Tampa. Your channel is the most thorough overview on Tampa that ive found.

We definitely will!! We're going to be there next month & check out some areas that we'd like to live.

Unfortunately thats not an easy answer without having specifics. So many variables for each category
Literally in Mobile, AL and want to escape. This city blows and I actually miss Tampa despite how busy the roads are and how rude the people can be.
Everywhere you have rude people, traffic, I lived in NYC and its far worse but still love NYC, the food, but it got too expensive for me.

Nice update! Good points about insurance and interest rates. Biggest pro, has to be BERN'S and the Cuban food scene! Happy productive New Year!!
Appreciate you and your support! Happy New Year 🥂
Yes I learned a lot of new info in this one! Thanks 🎉
Awesome!!! Glad we could be helpful!

I also love the carnival at Christ the king
Likewise and agree. Still a great city to live and play in though!
That smaller city was Hamilton, Ohio. I live like right next to there
I kove your videos. Great information
Thank you!
Great video
Appreciate that!
I live in NY and suffer from depression. I would love to leave this place. Its a very depressing place to live
I get it. Theres a lid for every pot. Some people love it and some dont. Same with Tampa. I have to say i think you would love Tampa as most do
@@TampaFloridaLiving im single and was wondering if Tampa is good for a 50 something in terms of dating? In NY its a very lonely place

The biggest con is the higher living costs and low pay.
Pay is on the ride as mentioned and cost of living is More than it was, but its relative to its size metro.
I❤Tampa
Hey…. Me too!!!
What is good city in Florida? Thank you for good information 💗

What about sales jobs down there? How is that sector?
Sales are great as well. Depends on the industry but again each sector has sales positions

And if you have a pet, be prepared to coddle them from the fireworks that are legal in Florida.
