Moved here from Dc love it ,,, I love that it’s always evolving ..I moved here last July ,,, don’t remember much about mosquitosHowever we will see what this summer brings ..I live in Berewick community south of the city which is right outside the airport and it takes me 15 mins to get uptown via 485 and 77,, lots of walk ability in my area too .. love it
Traffic should have been number 1 or 2 IMO. But that seems to be an issue across country now. The mosquitos here are a non issue. You’re the first person I’ve heard talk about them in 10 years. Great list tho
Nice channel. I grew up here, and we raised our family within a mile of the home where I grew up. Most everyone in my friend group grew up here also. There is a tight-knit local community that goes back 30-40 years. The native accent is pretty unique and beautiful. If you have ever heard Billy Graham speak, you know how it sounds. It has been bitter-sweet seeing the massive growth that has taken place over the past 5 years. I love it here but do not recognize pockets of this city, which enjoyed their glory days during the 1980's. I would say, however, that the changes have been mostly positive. It's a gorgeous city, especially in the spring. Sadly, traffic has doubled on the Southern corridors from uptown to Waxhaw, as well on the West from Pineville to Matthews over the past 2 years. You just have to take alternate routes and plan accordingly with a book on tape. 😄
@@mommakscafe Thanks! I did as well, it's crazy to see how much this city has changed over such a short time period. I have to agree, Charlotte is a good job in making the growth a positive movement - even if we have some growing pains sometimes.
No them tollways did not help the traffic it made it worse especially when you get in an accident. Driving to South Carolina to Cornelius soon you get to Huntersville was awful

Welcome to Charlotte! Berewick is a great community
Good and very accurate video as someone living in the metro area.
I'm glad you like the video :)
Great video! Where is the most popular neighborhood to move to?
It depends on what you’re looking for! But you may find this video useful: ruclips.net/video/umhAMK8J21M/видео.htmlsi=OW-1mjXTFqny6foh

They are a huge issue in Ballantyne.

I have had success using them to save time on my commutes..
Nice and friendly? It was the only place that I, as a young girl, got beaten up. Ah, the transplants... OK.
I'm sorry to hear that! :(
Gotta go south like waxhaw
I’m moving out this dump
