I’ve been crying over this commercial since I was a child and adopted my first two dogs today!

I take care of cats. (And sometimes skunks and raccoons. But donating food to skunks was kind of a bad idea in the end. Not that they're not ridiculously adorable.)
Maybe you should save a god rather than spend money to adopt one. People like you are what's wrong with the world.
I don't blame you Sarah. Someone at my first college told me that one time he was smoking weed and saw that commercial and started crying.
I just watched it again after ages and started crying. No drugs needed. It used to always come on the TV and I could never look at it. At least I've been a vegetarian for years. Makes me feel like I'm making a little bit of a difference at least.
I hadn't seen that commercial in a very long time, until about 2 weeks ago, after turning on a TV program that should've been pretty funny. Everything was fine until the first commercial, and here comes Sarah's voice, coupled with those poor, pitiful, neglected little Fur babies. After that commercial break I tried to kinda compartmentalize that commercial and enjoy the show again, and don't ya know, as soon the second commercial break came on, here's that ASPCA commercial again.....I ended up just turning the TV back off, because at that point that commercial had just completely ruined my enjoyment of the show (Supernatural, on TNT).

I love Sarah McLachlan I love that she helped out the ASPCA music commercial, it makes me sad that people treat their animals so bad. I love animals I love animals so much that we have. 2 dogs, 6 cats and 2 horses.

It always blows me away when someone this talented is so down to earth and genuine, But then again, that's probably why she can hit you right in the heart. In the video with Pink, singing Angel, when Pink come on stage, Sarah smiles, and I believe it was genuine. Made me smile too. Wait, I just lost my train of thought, thanks Sarah!
I came here from playing the commercial to my husband as we cackled… it was so funny after it used to make me depressed for no reason and it’s great to watch her feel the same way 🤣

It would be hard to have a desk that was in view of this interview room. It would probably be weird knowing you were on camera while working but also even weirder knowing there is a big name celebrity just a few feet away.
It is good to know that her commercial depresses even her. I don't think I have ever watched but about 5 seconds of it and that was because I didn't get to the remote control fast enough.

yeah about or who abuse a child and sexually abuse that little kid it can be a girl or a boy plus child sexual abuse and abuse is more severe too cause when it came to sexual abuse that child can have like suicide thoughts depression anxiety lots of things happen to the most beloved little children too that we all love so much most kids suffer pain and neglect just like animals do as well some children can be abandoned on a cold and windy stormy snow night some children are likely abandoned in cars due to the scorching hot heat in the summer especially at a 113 degree weather in the summer its best that we help out the animals and children that are suffering in the deep dark cold snow especially in the summer when temperature is like 113 degrees in summer as well

Even sadder than animal abuse , child abuse and abortion are the pathetic camera crews and celebrities who make money off of doing these commercials. Check it out: Spoke persons SARAH MCLACHLAN and WILLIE NELSON don't even have pets and the camera crews do nothing to stop the cruelty. They are like people filming child porn and then taking the kid to McDonald's for a Happy Meal. Sickening! Better to put them out of their misery . . . the animals too!
