James Christopher Gaffigan is an American stand-up comedian, actor, writer and producer. He presently has 5 stand up specials on Netflix and 2 on Amazon Prime Video. He wrote 2 New York Times Best Sellers Dad Is Fat (2013) and Food: A Love Story (2014) He co-created and starred in a tv series based on his life called The Jim Gaffigan Show. He has appeared in numerous TV shows and films in both comedic and dramatic roles.
Can someone tell me why no matter how many times I watch Jim’s segments I laugh like it’s the first time I have ever watched it. 😍

I was watching this while getting ready for a shower. Right as I got completely undressed and was reaching for my phone to turn it off, who other than Jim Gaffigan told me I was looking good. Thanks Jim!

You never know how kids will keep memories. Some of my favorite memories of my dad were when I went with him to run errands. He always worked at least 2 jobs, sometimes 4 at the same time. We would sometimes talk about things or sometimes just sit quietly together, but I honestly treasure those memories. I lost my dad when I was 21 years old and he had just turned 48.
Even as an adult I would visit my elderly auntie and I would get to go in her car with her on her errands. It was as exciting as when I did the same at 3. ❤ At the advanced age if 70 I cherish the memories. I miss you Auntie Elva.

There's a youtube channel called dry bar comedy that is all skits from comedians who don't use profanity. I don't mind an occasional cuss word, but I hate it when the entire routine is just a string of cuss words.

I rescued a dog, too. My dog was tied to the railroad tracks, and some guy in a long black cape and a black mustache was trying to get the deed to his ranch. But I rescued him. He's very grateful.

I like big families. I’m the 5th of 7. I don’t know how I would have made it through some of the hard times without my siblings. So, Jim, you have really given them the gift of each other. And they seem to have appreciated it, from the videos I’ve seen of them together.

Jim is one of my favorite comedians. I LOVE raunchy comedy, but his honest observation, and clear love if his massive family always makes me smile.

That was the errand he used for quality time with the rescue dog.
Why is pizza unhealthy? It’s basically bread with toppings. It all depends on what you put on it and how much of it you eat.
No food is unhealthy if you don’t exaggerate and your diet is sufficiently varied.

Jim Gaffigan, I asked the Pope to name you patron saint of comedians, but he told me that St. Genesius already had the job. Plus he said that your “Let’s Get Cookin’” segments did not yet qualify as miraculous. Certainly highly entertaining (his words), bordering on miraculous, but not quite there.
I have a stepmom that fostered cats for a while. Now we have six cats. And she just found two more.

My sister was once serious about trying to have our mother be listed a saint for she truly will go above and beyond to help anyone. But she only has had one real miracle she said she did and we asked her what that was. Her just says "I raised your brother".

I love the LDS joke - there might be more truth to it than you think lol. I was raised Mormon, and I no longer practice. Unlike most American religions, it’s a big deal to leave if you’ve been a committed member, since it is so high-demand. But even when I was practicing the faith, I always appreciated jokes about Mormons. It was comic relief!

One of the viewers in the live chat said that the dog(s?) were being cared for by the family's relatives during the pandemic. Perhaps the family was trying to limit the number of times they had to go outdoors, since dogs need to be walked regularly.
